My LPR out of the box was 55psi. After I run some more paint thru it I'll drop it to 45-50. I run my dwell right now at 8 and there is no dropoff.

i thot it was like 200 something out of the box! Geez thats low pressure! If there is no gauge how do you know what ur pressure is at?

The only way to tell your LPR is to use a LPR gauge from a toolkit.

Dwell is the length of time the valve stays open
And yes

my dwell is all the way down (7), and i havent touched my lpr since I got it. Mine doesnt have any drop off either, and with my loader feeding 35 bps, this thing jumps up and RUNS. Get one.

when you say that the valve stays open what does that do? and how low should you go or high? is it preference. Thanx for the help.

When the valve is open, it allows air into the bolt to propel the paintball. A longer dwell time uses more gas, generates pressure variables, but is easier on paint. A shorter dwell time uses less gas and reduces noise, but is less tolerant on paint. You basically want to go as low as you can on dwell without it affecting performace. A dwell of 9 seems to be what most people use.
