This may have been asked already, and if it has feel free to flame

Does the CP 05 reg adaptor work with the 06 speed?

If not, does anyone know if there are plans of any sort to have one made?

Um...yes it is. A couple people have already got there O6 speeds and several sites have had them for sale for at least a week now

I think I saw in the g7 or g7 fly forum that it would not work do to WDP opening up the air inlet.

It does not work. The screw hole doesn't line up (not even close, actually). Honestly, you'd be better served by emailing CP directly. I don't believe any of us on AOG work for the company.

Considering that they haven't made one for the G7, which has been out for a while now, that's not a good tell tale sign for the product's development.

I bet it's hard for the aftermarket companies to manufacture cool stuff (like reg adapters) for a specific brand of marker that significantly change their specs several times in one year. If I were CP I would wait till next year before putting the work and effort into designing and manufacturing aftermarket equipment just to be sure things have settled down enough so I would not be wasting my time and money.

Exaggerated, but has some truth IMO. Developing and producing the aftermarket 05 speed vertical adapter or "flash tank" was probably not nearly as profitable for CP as expected. But by the same token, WDP's interests are in convincing players that their inline regs are high-flow and high performance, especially after Haveblue's infamous dynatest graphs. This seemed to have worked since there no complaints, but only praise about the new regs.

In the long run though, WDP should involve others with aftermarket manufacturers as this will peak interest with potential owners who prefer to customize over settling with stock options. There are a lot of us like this!
