Just ordered one of these bad boys. I've heard that DYE is currently the only one w/ rights to the g7 barrel thread. Is this true? If so, how long will it be before I can order up some lucky 15s? Any word?

It's just up to the companies as to when and if they will produce the new threads. I'm sure most will and it's just a matter of when. You can already get CP barrels in the new threads, so no it's not a DYE exclusive.

Some might prefer a kit, but w/ that matching anno its hard to not keep it on! plus the UL is a sweet barrel anyways
I personally have never been a fan of dye barrels. I would love to see a J&J kit, but something tells me that will never happen. So i'll just have to live with my cp kit I guess... ;)

J&J already makes a barrel kit...It's called "The Edge" barrel kit. They're pretty nice, I always liked the J&J ceramic barrel I had on my spyder back in the day.

That has to be BS, every future angel will have these threads, then again didnt WDP sue smart parts and they hate each otehr, so they might not but they are losing a LOT of business, w/e im not a fan of smart parts.

You have to call them. From what the lady said, no barrels will be shipping out until after Commanders Cup.

I know J&J makes a kit. I've had three edge kits, best kit on the market IMO. I'm saying I'm not holding my breath for a Fly thread version.

i hope they make a pipe set for the gat cause i loved when i tested the pipe out on my friends g7, it was realyl accurate
