Despite the rain and awful weather that didn't stop us from playing "kill the tree."

Two videos we filmed for your enjoyment (or torment) as Ken says. Look for a release of these soon!

Beauty....Was that an 05 or older G7? Def. the new VL loader, seeing it more often now must mean something...So Ken or others with experience w/the VL and angry board, how does one fair up against the other?

the only reason it seems slow to you october fly is because hes using a stock halo which is capped at 22 but it feeds realistically 17-18 in a string like that.

i cant wait for angry halo, empire B, Ihalo, and maybe even a Vlocity of Qloader vid with this beast.

I dont know the settings but that gun seemed to be perfectly legal.
No electronic bounce, no mech. bounce, no ramp, etc.

Im definately picking up one of these noob killer boards around Cup time when i get another paycheck.

Ken got the Angry Halo operational this morning but there were no further videos filmed. I'll be making the trek down to Miami and we'll be geared up for lots of coverage there.

i experimented with every possibility of magnets, wheels adjustments and every setting and mode before jason got up and had breakfast with his grand parents. (who live near me) went thru 2 cases of paint and murdered a tree. but it was fun fun fun. the problem was it rained all weekend so the ability to shoot vids was out of the question.but we did acomplish what we wanted to do and it will be ready soon for your viewing plesure...

Come on now, that's personal stuff. I got up @ 4am on Saturday to drive 300+ miles to shoot a paintball marker. The least I could do is visit my 85+ year old grandparents. Coming to visit with your daughters is not a good enough reason, ya know! ;)

We went through a lot of paint and even more air! In the end we've found some great settings that everyone can use and a method to show how to use them. I can assure you, in the 7 months I've been working on this project everyone is going to be very pleased.

Since my Tadao forum post is very late in the game, I will opt out from posting any of my wishes in the mode thread. However, this won't stop me from posting my expectations and hopes when it is released shortly. Apart from the typical tournament legal modes (PSP, CFOA, NPPL) seen in past and present board software, there isn't much more to desire, with the few exception of a few things:

1. Ultra light microswitch spring (less than 25 grams)
I think the microswitch spring should be very weak, especially since pull resistance and return will be coupled with the current trigger return magnet system. This will be similar to the MT mag mod used on leaf spring boards, which seems to be an optimal configuration for myself and many. Notice the PL egos seemed to have copied this system, as I'm sure many tournament players found the single magnet trigger system of the standard ego's trigger insufficient.

2. Tons of debounce adjustments
I have always preferred the opto board over microswitches as I've found the latter extremely finicky. As noted with Angel LPR pressures, each gun may require a different number of shims to achieve the same LPR pressure. My point is that microswitches are similar in that a debounce setting on one gun might deem it legal, but that same setting on another might not.

3. Max ROF setting for all (most) modes, including when eyes are off
Max ROF is a setting i miss on pre 3.9 software, as it determined MROF when eyes were turned off. The jump to 3.9/4.0 switched this to when eyes were on. When the eyes were off, 15bps was the unadjustable MROF.

The following aren't my preferences as I would probably only try them once, and never touch them again. But for benefit of the others, I will list them.

Adjustable ramping percentage

Ramping activation at an adjustable ROF

And lastly,
Crazy @$$ 40bps ramping that will (hopefully) get you banned from your local field :stooges:
