Speed Ups

So I have been looking around at different ups for my Speed, trying to price everything out accordingly and what not.

I am seriously considering the magnetic trigger as my first update, but still finding it hard to understand what exactly it will cost, so will probably make a phone call to get it instead of trying to read it.

Eyes, a must have? Or does it require a new board to operate? I have noticed major chopping lately, need to mess around with my settings and grab a tool kit to check my LPR. Does the evolve kit help with chopping or would it be worth while to mess with Volumizer instead?

Barrels, always something I have wondered, all I have ever heard was praise for Freak kits, but not too much on other barrel kits. I have shot a few of the J&J's and wasn't too happy with them. Any of the other kits that anyone would suggest?

I'm open for anything, and I appreciate any help you all can throw my way. Thanks in advance.

Not sure about Evolve, didn't notice much of a difference with my Volumizer.
I had/have a st!ffi kit for my angel. Great kit, second lightest barrel (second to the st!ffi one piece), accurate and it looks great. (still for sale if interested)

CP barrels are another great barrel/kit............but after buying a evolve kit/fly conversion/mag trigger, you could sell your speed and take the "upgrade money" and buy a new 06 speed.............

the first thing to check to fix a chopping problem is your ram adjustment!!

i never really considered a magnetic trigger to be of great importance to me, until recently when i handed my SPEED to Ken, and he handed it back to me with a magnetic trigger. i used it at a tourny as he set it up for me (without any input from me about how i like my trigger set) and my jaw dropped at much i instantly loved this thing more than before!! and now that ive done a little (very little) tweaking it is unbelievable how well it performs for me!!!!!!

the MT fly (or euro conversion for $100 less) conversion is the BEST upgrade you can consider!!!!!!! while i wouldnt consider eyes a "must have" i have both a fly'd SPEED and a SPEED with sensi. guess which one i use and love to death?? basically sensi can work perfectly for you, but the FLY conversion is simply insane, and it comes with the required new board

a toolkit is a very wise investment. when you get it set it to 70 LPR, and 10 dwell for the best baseline setting

a good barrel kit is also a great investment. even if you only use 1 bore size 90% of the time, that other 10% youll be kicking yourself for not having a variety of bore sizes to choose from. i personally use a longbow kit, but im currently drooling over the orbium set.

ok get this board, it comes with eyes, and they can add a magnetic trigger job for 25$.. and you get all these modes :) with lazer eyes

• Auto Responce - A shot on the pull and release of the trigger
• Full Auto - Hold the trigger back and the gun keeps firing
• Smooth Ramping - Slowly lowers the debounce
• Assisted Ramping - Gently adds shots as ROF increases
• Fast Ramping - Immediately adds shots
• Hyper Ramping - Ramps as long as trigger is being moved
• PSP/CFOA Preset 1 - 3 shots then ramps to MROF
• PSP/CFOA Preset 2 - 3 shots then super fast ramping
• PSP/CFOA Preset 3 - 3 shots then fires 3 shots per pull regardless of the speed you pull the trigger
• NXL (old style) - 3 shots them full auto if you hold the trigger back
• Break Out - 1st shot full auto then fast ramping on the second shot
• OMFG - 3 shots then it gets crazy

As mentioned above, I wouldn't spend too much money on upgrades. You can do your own magnetic trigger just with two rare earth magnets and super glue. I'd get a tool kit and install a volumizer. Next, a CP barrel in my favorite length and in the bore I use most. However, the most important thing is to get your Sensi working again.

Is there a board that is better than the Stock board that can use the sensi?
For an 04 Speed?
With ramping?
That wont cost 350 bucks?

Ive herd you can get a fly board to except a sensi however i think the sensi blows and have left mine off for the past year. I'm getting it flied for christmas ;) I think the A4 board is pretty nice and i think it uses a sensi.
