What about the modes of fire? Am i gunna have to send my board back in to get it flashed with the new software so that i can have the ramp/psp modes in the newest software?I feel that if i am spending (basically) a thousand dollars on the newest/most badass Angel out. Youd think they would include those modes from the factory. Im tired of spending 3 times the amount of the low end guns with those modes for an angel that i have to send off to get flashed...... thats BS. It just lets ya know that sumone (WDP) is just tryin to make a lil extra money (that they probably dont need to begin with) and in a way it makes their company look less tempting to buy from because they didnt even take the time/money/effort out to make their product competitive enough to keep me from saying "Hey why didnt i just buy an Ion again???". I know that sumone who can actually do anything about this matter will probably never read this but hey everybody rants about sumthing every now and then. And i dont really care to hear any of die hard WDP fans flames on this one because you freakin know its true man!
but none the less it is a status symbol/intimidation factor and the markers are still the best around so "as long as paintball is a sport i will be using an Angel"

umm, rk, the gun that u got without the newest software was prolly because it left the factory before the new software was available. And as far as extra money, they don't make any from flashing boards. The place u send it to does, so if u sent it to an MT, the MT makes the money, they dont send it back to WDP. And when u get ur board flashed u don't need to send the whole gun, u can save a lot of money by just shipping the board or getting it flashed at an event near you.
As for the board, i'd be innterested in seeing wut this new board looks like or if it is an 05 speed board. Also if it has an intelifeed port...

Its like $25 to flash the board and actually you should be mad at the leagues for messin with the rules all the time.........

SO IT DOESN'T HAVE ALL THE MODES THE G-FLY HAS..I posted a question as to whether the 06 was basically a g-fly without the lcd screen....but it's more than just lack of a screen its the modes too?
The 06 Speed uses the same board that comes in the 05 Speed. The 05 has been coming with the PSP software for some time now.
The big question on my mind and I'm sure on others, does the 06 speed board have an intellifeed port? I was mildly disappointed that my 5peed was missing the port. I'm hoping the 06 does

I'm pretty sure the 9v wont support the gun and I-Feed, hence no port.....

well the intelifeed with halo's/reloader's u still use a 9volt in the hopper anyway

Is there a millenium mode on speed 06 and the "Gat"?The official site or WDP.tv doesn't state the modes on the markers.
