My current breech knob (stock plastic) broke into 3 different pieces... Im looking at getting the shocktec breech knob but I noticed that they are made from Aluminum.. Has anyone had any issues with scratching up their anodizing on the marker by using a non plastic breech knob ?

I have never seen an aluminum knob that hasn't scratched or scuffed the anno. I have also seen a few that have left grooves in the tube after usage. A few people I know have felt glued to the inside to help prevent it. On some knobs that's possible and others it isn't. I just buy a 3 pack of the plastic ones and replace them when I need it.

I got the black shocktech breach knob and it works perfectly fine. Although, the little metal threaded insert needs to be taken off the rod before putting on the shocktech one.
