I just ordered one, but I'm still missing some information that I would like to have.

Battery: 9v like the 5peed or rechargable?

Ram Assembly: does it have the same "turn the knob to lock the ram/bolt into place" thing as the g7 series?

barrel: any concrete evidence on companies producing the new style barrels?

Thanks in advance. I can't wait for my 6peed(?) to get here.

Yes............people...call the manufacture's, its not that hard............i talked to the guy at CP and ordered a base barrel kit with angel fly threads in dust black with dust silver tip............

DYE already has the backs listed on their website.

Check Ultralight backs. They are called "Angel G7" backs.

just ordered mine, nice toy, rippin out of box, just set dwell, hopper,trigger and destroy...no kick, no bounce and really very fast :drink:

The UPS man just dropped off my CP kit with "fly" threading.....CP rocks supportin the new ANGEL right off the bat!!!:patriot:

So you cant use regualar angel threaded barrels??....wow that sux I just bough a Lucky 15 kit like a month ago

how lame...why would they even change the threadings? i dont think thats really a smart marketing choice...

They're doing it for weight purposes from what I can tell. The shank is like an inch shorter. It may not seem like much, but not only does the barrel have less material, but the body is significantly cut back as well. So it really adds up.

I called CP wondering where my base kit is, and they said that they won't have the next batch ready to be shipped out until after cup. So I should be getting it soon.

doesn't matter, stock is just enough, sell old barrels - or use 'em for older Angels.
