Giant creature found in tsunami aftermath [Archive]

dont know if this has been posted already, but i just saw this video and it's the first i've heard of it, trying to find more info on it right now.

Apparently the Tsunami in india washed away allot of sand that was covering this Giant creature at the shore. Scientists are trying to figure out what it is.

humans also lived for like 200 years long in the bible.....

but yea, i couldnt find anything else concerning this creature, not a single mention of it, so it's credibility is questionable at best, i'd immagine that if it was true that it would be all over the news.... so...

Some people lived to almost 1000 years old in the bible. Creatures so huge still do apear here there and well they aren't that ancient. Remeber in asia when they dragged in that huge sea creature a while back.

We've also got to remember that back then there weren't 12 months to a year. there were more like 8 but i'm not expert.

also in revelations 12/13/16/ and 20 there are mentions of dragons/leviathans/behemoth. May be references to dinosuars as I expected that back then there may have been dino's of some type still amongst humans.

I find it interesting that in almost every culture there have been historical accounts or stories of dragons and giant creatures. most have no outside cultural influences so it's some odd coincidence that they all believe this one creature did exist.

speaking of shows and giant creatures, has anyone seen that new show that on NBC and SCIFI called SURFACE? it's supposed to be pretty cool.

yes there was computer animation. I think the idea for the story came from when two humans and a 'dragon' were discovered preserved in ice. The study then tried to figure out what the dragon used to 'breathe fire'. The idea was that the dragon produced hydrogen gas from an exotic metal found in the rocks where they supposedly lived. The hydrogen was stored in these bags that allowed the heavy bird to fly and as it expended it's hydrogen by 'flame throwing' it lost it's ability to fly until it replenished hydrogen.

and yea dragonjedi, i've also heard that there are dinosaurs in the bible, i've barely ever opened up a bible myself so i dont know exactly what is written, but as i understand, people lived amongst dinosaurs in certain parts of the bible.

cant say i really believe it, but hey....

There were always diseases, except scurvy and things like that were more common, not diseases, just lack of nutrients. Unless you are a 100% believer in the bible then nobody lived that long. It has been exaggerated to say that a person lived a very long time.

i dont wanna get flamed but you also must remember that the bible is all interpretations of many people, some written WAAAAY after the fact. Also the books that we do read and call the Bible are only what the church wants us to see... Black sea scrolls anyone? BS scrolls....coincidence?

well, revelations speaks of the future. the dragon or Beast is the anti-christ. The whole book is symbolic.
that is a weird coincidence that most cultures speak of dragons. might have been demons. who knows

I assume some of you have read Da Vinci Code and/or Angels and Demons? Similar discussion there on how the Bible is simply a story of what the church wanted us to hear and believe.

The book must be read. It's one of those you can't down til you're through and it's got some pretty provacative stuff challenging religion...
