well first of all if youll be running an HP tank with the stock mini-reg you may have to do the mini-reg mod located here... http://www.angel-owners.com/showthread.php?t=22325
what it says is....
""if you have a high pressure tank you can modify the mini reg to lower the spring stack pressure so you may adjust the gun below 300 fps.
1) remove all pressure to the gun.
2) remove the mini reg from the gun by unscrewing it counter clockwise
3) look into the top of the mini reg and locate the circle 'c clip'
4) with a circlip pliers remove the circlip
5)carefuly turn the mini reg over and tap it on a padded surface
6) you will note that there are cuped washers stacked on top of each other they look like this: ((()))((())) (not in this order)
7)remove 1 of the cuped washers (springs) from the mini reg stack
8) reassemble in reverse order and re chrony.""
you may not have to do this mod, its only if you cannot chrono low enough to meet your fields requirements.
what kind of hopper do you have? ok good, use that one. and as you get used to the speed you may want to upgrade later to an egg or halo (or whatever has been released at that point to replace the egg and halo). some people have problems with using a halo for whatever reason, but in my experience a few simple adjustments will make it a great combination.
i would suggest an angel toolkit (if you dont have one yet) so you can properly tune your new speed the right way. they are available at any of the sponsors of this site listed/linked at the top of every page. once you get the toolkit (or borrow one) you can set the gun up to the recommended settings of 70LPR-10dwell (thats the best starting point to tune from, and it works great without further tuning)
as for keeping the gun in tip top shape, well, um,
wipe it off after you use it, charge it before you play (you can get away with using it a couple/few times between charging it, but keep in mind that the battery meter lies!!), and put a few drops of love-juice through it every few cases or so. the angel really is the most maintenance-free high end gun there is. basically you just set it and forget it.

Suggestion one: spring the $50 for an angel tool kit. You can't do any trouble shooting without it because the first thing we will ask is "what is your LPR pressure".
Two: get a LP tank.
Three: try someones halo before you buy one.
