I need a little help here I got this 2k2 lcd it was compleltly dead when i got it
I put in on the charger intially for an hour in the car, it got fully charged
I dropped it off to get the ram adjusted and some o-rings replaced
be cause I aired it up and the ram was a bit leaky I got it back it received
at least another 12 hours of chrage time before I played with it and it was fully charged
after that day i put it back on the charger for a week and now it will turn on and
blink its intial screen but then it just shuts off , it also says "tab in" when the charging cables in
and in order for me to get it in safe mode I have to turn it on put in the charging jack
wait for it to say tab in remove the charging jack and wait for it to click to safe mode when it does that
it reads no batt power at all and only stays there a sec unless i put back in the charging jack then it
starts the cascading saying its charging but its not??? any help would be greatly appreciated
also I did read the manual and its been on when i charge it and all connections are fine
I also tried the point test when it was in safe mode cascading and it didn't click?
thanx a bunch

ummm the "tab in" is your problem....what it means is that you're marker is off....the marker must be on, and in safe "BEFORE" you plug the charger in.

it won't even get to that point, I turn it on it comes on blue shows the intial flash screen and then shuts down
right now i'm about ready to beat the hell out of this thing with a hammer...

Good call Emmit. The gun needs to be in the On position for it to allow the battery to charge. It's to the left...

It sounds like a bad board then. I'd check with one of the Techs, send them an email or call them. Sorry about your problems.

turn the switch to the on position....plug your charger in, and let it sit for about 20 minutes...after about 20 minutes unplug it, turn the switch to the off position, then wait a few minutes again...turn it back on, hopefully you'll get a safe screen, and you'll be able to charge the marker
if that doesn't work, best bet is to call a tech

Dear all,
I have to exact same problem on my angel lcd. what's different about my situation, I just had my board because it had a fault on it no matter what happens. so i took the marker to a local shop with an angel cert. tech. he said it was the board, had it replace then it was good, then my screen went dead, so the tech replace the lcd screen for free. after that my charging problem starts happening. i actually had my old nicad battery switched out to the metal hydridge thinking that it might be the battery.
So from what I hear I should bring the marker back to the tech because it's a board problem? and I still have 6 month warranty on the new board.
Please help. Thank you.

Nano, keep in mind, if you got the new battery you also need the new charger. The old charger will not work with the NiMH battery, it only charges NiCD.

I order the complete kit with the new charger. So I am using the new charger and it still has the same problem.
thanks for the quick response.

Nano, at this point defenitely take it back to the tech and in addition to checking out the board, check the whole charging electrical loom as well.

Thanks SPEED. The tech confirmed it was the board that it was acting up. Replaced it and tested out, and it's all fixed now. Thanks again.
