View Full Version : flied 04 speed or get an 05 speed?

To anyone who has used a flied 04 speed and an 05 speed:

I would like to know which path i should take with my next upgrade.... I currently have an 04 speed which i am fairly happy with, but i would like to get a marker with eyes on it. I am torn between two options tho.

1, get my speed flied or,

2, sell my 04 speed and buy an 05 speed for $850 US.

I realize that a flied speed comes with more features than the 05 speed, but i also like the look of an 05 speed a bit more than the o4 speed, and I also have no real huge use for most of the options on the fly board.

anyone have any input?

well as you have no real use for the added options on the fly board you can save yourself $100 and opt for a euro board conversion

the choice between upgrading your current SPEED or buying an 05 is up to you, but it seems to me that you want the 05. it is a sexy gun but then again so is your 04. and with the MT conversion your 04 will be crazy insane

another thing to consider is the overall feel of the guns. the 05 will be a little lighter, and have a different trigger feel. i dont know if youd notice during a game but it may be somthing for you to consider as well.

I have a 04 speed that’s fly'd with the euro board and I love it. The way I see it the only thing you get from buying a 05 speed is the new trigger but if you get the magnetic trigger mod done while your speed is getting fly’d you’ll be set. I also like the milling on 04 speeds way more then the 05 speeds.

where can I get some info on a euro board? Is it basically a speed board with support for eyes?

it is just like your current speed board, only it has been updated to work with eyes instead of sensi. there are no modes, no safe, no timer, no bells, no whistles. just turn it on and shoot your friends in the face

i have a euro board converted '04 and i love it all the way

send it to jim at impact and get her(your speed) flied, jalo'd and mag mod !!!!!

flied speed + jalo + mag mod = SEX

i loved my old speed when it had sensi but when i got it flied it was even better i wish i never sold it :cryer:...

You also have the .45 option with the '05 if you were thinking that route, but otherwise flied guns are just as nice........
