I'm about to buy an Angel as soon as someone will sell me one but I have a few questions.
I'm new to Angels and a lot of people talk about how they can't get their Velocity below 280 or something like that. I have an Aluminum Crossfire 47/3000 but I can't tell if it is High or low output, It works perfect with spyders and things like that. How can I tell if it his High pressure or low pressure? Will I be able to get the velocity down to 220?
If I Buy a new tank (In the near future) what is the best tank for an Angel?
Can I even use my 47/3000 on an angel? please help!

OK, first off, good luck and welcome!!!
The only question that most people have about not getting under 280 is if the have the HP. On most Crossfires the valve stem is either red, (HP) or blue (LP). However, I think that with the 3000s they were black. SO....I would call Crossfire and give them all of the information on the cylinder and let them tell you!!!
Now....as the question is getting under 280, the HPs will work on the Angels IF you CAN get below 300. You can try the mini-reg mod. I had a HP for my Speed and never had a prob. Some people are like that!!
If you are going to get a newer Speed and can't getthe velocity down, keep with the Crossfires cylinders. Look at any size that you feel comfortable with playing. I have a 68ci/4500 LP (blue) and love it.
Hope this helps!!

The post was very helpful but what is a mini-reg mod? I Don't really wanna take a chance at ruining a fine gun such as an angel

The mini reg mod involves removing one of the springs from the spring stack inside of the regulator.

O...I'll have to search that.

""""if you have a high pressure tank you can modify the mini reg to lower the spring stack pressure so you may adjust the gun below 300 fps.
1) remove all pressure to the gun.
2) remove the mini reg from the gun by unscrewing it counter clockwise
3) look into the top of the mini reg and locate the circle 'c clip'
4) with a circlip pliers remove the circlip
5)carefuly turn the mini reg over and tap it on a padded surface
6) you will note that there are cuped washers stacked on top of each other they look like this: ((()))((())) (not in this order)
7)remove 1 of the cuped washers (springs) from the mini reg stack
8) reassemble in reverse order and re chrony."""""
