Might get a g7?

Alright i was planning on getting a g7 over a ir3 now. So here are my questions.

How much different is a stock g7 and a stock ir3?

How much different is a stock g7 and a stock 5peed?

Whats the big difference between 45* and 90* frames?

Also should i run LP or HP tanks? Cuz all i have is a HP Max Flo Tank?

Alos how would u rate this setup? Angel G7 with Warped Sportz Feed Port, Warped Sportz Direct Mount ASA On/Off, Warped Sportz Lucky 15 Barrel, Empire Reloader B with Rip Drive, and either a Angel Air Present Tank or Max Flo Inline Air System.

g7 has the laser eyes, IR3 has cops. very little debate on which is better cause cops is sometimes slow to respond, rod breaks sometimes, and cops sensor located on the top of the trigger frame sometimes breaks or get's clogged up with paint from broken balls.


same for the speed, unless it one of the new speed 05, which is nice just no LCD display, you have to try and remember what the led's are trying to tell you when you go through the options. also speeds are lighter than IR3. don't know the weight difference between speed and G7

45 and 90 frames depends on how comfortable you are holding either one. some say that 90 frame give an almost natural feel when you hold it while a 45 frame feels a bit more like holding a gun.

on any angel marker after the IR3 you should run Low Pressure or LP
it's how they are designed.

and that setup rates up there with most all G7 setups nowadays. but that is up for debate as we all have different tastes.

I owned a Dark IR3 a while back. Great marker when it came out. I've now gone through an A4, a Fly, and now my G7. I recently held an IR3. It's heavy compared to a G7. Not so heavy that I wouldn't be able to use it, but a G7 is a lot lighter.

I can't contribute much about the speed vs g7 question. But I upgraded from an IR3 to my G7, so I'll pretent to be an expert about that. :) My Ir3 was stock and so is my G7.

-The G7 feels lighter and slimmer. It has a lower profile and the grips are slimmer, it just feels better in my hand.
-The G7 is more consistant, mine runs +/- 3 fps, the IR3 was more like +/-10 or 11 fps.
-The G7 is more air effecient, I currently get about 850-900 shots off a 45/45, which is a little more than I got off a 45/68 with the IR3.
-The G7 is faster and smoother, I run 16-18 bps with it, but 14 was the fastest I managed with my IR3.
-I do like the eyes better, my IR3 would occasionally chop a ball, not very often, but it did happen. I've got 25-30 cases through my G7 and, with the exception of an old box of seconds that we could not get ANY marker to shoot, it has not broken a single ball, not one.
-The IR3 had a noticable(but managable) recoil, the G7 barely moves, even at the highest rate of fire.
-The G7 is the most accurate marker I've ever fired. It "fits" me just right and my overall accuracy has improved since I got it. My teammates noticed and commented on how much better my shooting on the run is with the G7.

All in all, the G7 is a vastly superior marker to the IR3. Don't get me wrong, I love the old girl and still play with her from time to time. The IR3 is a classic and a great marker, but the G7 is king.

I've noticed the same thing. My IR3 is C&C'ed, inexperienced players ask me about it a lot. Folks that have been around notice the G7 right away.
