I've been hearing rumors about taking the rear magnet out on the G7 for a better trigger pull. I just got mine yesterday and am thinking of having the FLY trigger done (when it becomes available) But does anyone have any experiences with the rear magnet removed..ie, problems, or pros cons?
thanks guys.

now to answer the question, no, i've never had any remorse about removing the rear magnet, and yes it feels much better to me than before.
i think when it comes to personal feel, there really is no right or wrong, however there are the fundamentals to setting up the trigger that should be universal for everyone.
i'll tell you this though, i can shoot alot faster with the rear magnet out than in.

It just makes the pull much lighter and smoother. I love the way my trigger feels with out the magnet.

I had serious problems with triggerbounce when I removed the rear magnet. I play with the front magnet removed and it also makes the pull a lot easier...
I pulled the rear magnet on mine and really liked the feel of it. I was really able to rip it. The downside was that I couldn't get the bounce under control. I wound up putting it back in to keep from machine-gunning some poor guy into unconciousness.
