sad to say, thats pretty much true!! borrowed it midgame and by the end, my precious was scratched, luckily it was only the backplate not the side.

It's paintball. Scratches happen. People who whine about a few scratches on their gun, no matter how nice, are flying a little close to the fairy side. I put a few new scratches on my G7 every time I play with it. I don't want to think about my gat when I am crawling in the snake or pushing the dorito with my G7 as I snap. Bunkers are dirty, and scratches happen.

I can agree with both of your comments. The first time my Jeep was on it's side it was at the hand of my GF. 5 minutes on the winch and it was all better.

well it is just a backplate but its not really a scratch its more from him taking my g7 and smashing it against another players gun in an on field scuffle, i heard the high pitched ping from it so thats not really from normal play.
in any case, no info on one yet huh?

True. I guess I could see getting a little frustrated at yourself at lending it. This is the sole reason that I have a "No lending ANYTHING to friends" policy. It prevents damage to my valued possessions, and even more it prevents the loss of friendships.

grrr I say. Like DarthAlan says...a no lendng policy is the wisest. I'd be pissed even more that is was not from regular play. If your going to fight with another player than put the expensive gun that you do not own down somewhere first.

i totally agree with the no lending policy, but sometimes i do, for example if we scrim other teams and someones gun goes down and you are right on the sidelines, then i'd rather loan a gun practice midgame.
