I am thinking about buying an 05 speeed. Is this a gun I should get? If yes what hopper and tank should I get? Is it worth the 895? Thank you if you reply

Honestly the answer to all your questions are : "It depends."
It depends on whether or not you have $1000 around that you don't need for medical bills or gas or college or something else more important.
You will find few people here who are going to tell you that you should not buy an angel and especially few people in the angel speed forum who will tell you not to buy it.
I think most people use a Halo or egg hopper.
Tank? it's up to you. Speed is a LP marker, keep that in mind.
Other things it depends on: have you ever shot an angel before? have you ever shot a speed?
are you looking for something that's really fast or are you looking for something that just looks cool?
spend a couple of hours looking at this forum, technical reference forum and see if it sounds like it's something you want to buy.

The angel speed is a great gas & go gun, but used G7's are starting to pop up in your price range making it a tougher choice. If that is all you can spend and you have to have a "new" gun then go for it.............as stated above a uni-mount/ Lp screw-in/HALO or egg and you're ready to go...i play with a coupla guys who love their 05's but with used G7's coming in around the same price its hard to buy a new speed IMO :notsure:

An angel is too much gun for you.
Stick with something alittel cheeper\less complicated for now.

Whats that mean? A player is ready to step up, then they need to step up to the best, especially if they can afford it............

Agreed. I stepped up from a spyder to an Angel. its easy to maintain and doesn't take long to learn how to maintain and adjust. no marker is too much as long as they are willing to take care of it themselves

Once upon a time I too played with a Tippmann and I stepped up to an Angel and now I am on my fifth Angel. They are never too much gun if you enjoy playing paintball. The G7 is nice but I bet the 05 Speed would make your head spin just the same for a couple hundred dollars less.

yeah my freind went from an a-5 to an a4 and i went from a cocker to an 05 speed. nuthin wrong wit that. and if u ask me the speed is probably the abosolute best gun u can get at that price. its reliable, easy to clean, quiet, durable, and fast as crap- hense the name speed. but ive had my speed for almost 2 months now and it hasnt broken once on me. i play about every weekend so its got a lot of shots thru it. also i play front so its constantly hitting the ground and gettin dirty. but it still shoots flawlessly. id say get it.
