Serial# and years

hey,
i was wondering what you people have as s/n on your Angel LEDs. i just figured it would be kinda cool to see who's LED is the oldest, the newest, what serial numbers fell within which years...stuff like that. so it would be cool if you guys could post the year of your LED, type(like if its a special gun like an Adrenalin Angel, or something like that) - if it isnt anything special just put stock- and what your s/n is. i hope u dont think this is stupid

thanks...it has quite a history. last time i sent it out to TAG he told me that the gun had gone through a fire. at first i didnt believe him..but sure enough, if you look inside the lpr area or by the exhaust valve stem you can see bubbling in the annodizing. its kinda cool. but still shoots great (thanks to TAG:wink:). its nice to know my LED is something special...lol...

I Just purchased my 2nd LED SE on EBAY (I think its # 5338 or something like that I deleted the e-mail) I hate to buy off there but SE's and LED parts are getting hard to find! Check out item # 1860362306 let me know if you think I got ripped or whatever....if I did so what the LED is still the powerhouse that made the angel name right?

i dont think that your deal is a bad deal..it wouldve been cooler if it came with an after market barrel but that is still pretty good. as long as its in good working order and you dont have to replace anything when u get it. let us know when u get it and what condition it is in

Limit-
The seller said it has very little time on the field and its works perfectly...but its still going to get shipped out to The Angel Guy as soon as it gets here just to besure. About the barrel I have the FREAK and a couple of Boomers from my other Angel so I really didn't mind since I dont have a stock barrel for either gun.

Eh, I'm lazy, no pics. It is just a basic black, totally stock gun. Even still have the on/off/slide check thingymabob on my minireg. My SN was definately etched by hand. limitdliability, don't worry, I have yet to have the lowest sn in any of these threads.

limitdliability............that bubbling could be from when this guy that had it before tried to anodize it. Like when he put it in that acid stuff or whatever it is to take off the ano that is on it. It didn't work out. I geuss. Like it didn't take to the ano and wouldn't take it off.

no, its still got the very thin original anno...there was also damage to the original 14 way as well as proof of burn and smoke inside the gun in a number of spots..i understand where u were coming from though

It's kinda hard to tell because the engraing is wearing off but i think its 120 or 1202. Probably more likely 1202

Also when I first got that angel before, it had a cigarette butt in it. And the original ano is still on it because the acid or whatever wouldn't take the ano off.

Don't know the year, but SN is definately 1202-hand engraved on the breach. Someone had an earlier post that his was 120 or 1202. Mine was bone stock when I bought it from Simon Cole.
The dude with the earlier post may actually have 120. They wouldn't use the same number more than once? Do the after markets install their own SN? Mine was brought over from the UK-any difference between it and the ones imported normally? Antone qualified to answer these questions?

i dont know anything about this marker and would appreciate some input :lost:

im guessing its a cobra as it has a cobra on the end of the LPR plug and also one more somewhere as i remember, oh it also has the venturi style bolt.

99 is when the reg became standard. my serial # is 1458 and on the board it says 4/98 which leads me to believe i have a 98 led. but i dont have the goofy thing on my reg to turn the air on and off.....so i dont know. hope it helps alittle.

That is a 98 led, I know because I almost traded for that. My serial number on my 99 is 2911

to give you an idea (you might have to search for it or look at the beginning of the LED section) we did a thread on LED serial numbers trying to see who had the oldest one. I think most of them listed a year and a number. Check there.

Mine is # 973. I looked under the breech and could not find but I turned the marker around and what looked like a bunch of scratches was what I think is the number. It is hand engraved correct.

I imagine it has something to do with the fact that the breech is the last thing cut, so instead of cutting it and then yanking it off to stamp it, they just etch it in

open the breech, on the inside of the breech there is a number that's hand etched into every marker...this is also inside the marker on the body if you remove the grip frame you'll see it. That's your serial number.

It came with a custom barrel, double trigger, air, kapp drop, wood grips, digital hopper, new bolt. Seems to chop and dice paint like a blender though. Currently working with Ken on updating the internals. Hope I don't go broke on replacement parts.
