Hello there,
I was getting my scuba tank filled at the local fire department and they said that the burst disc. blew on it. I am wondering where is a place online that I can buy some of these at? The guy at the fire department didn't have an ideal.
id say check a local Dive shop if you have one nearby. Cant be that much even if you had to get one off Ebay. And how exactally did they blow that disc? You know those are meant to be blown at a certain pressure but maybe it was faulty?? hmm BTW how much was a fill at the Firehouse anyways? I didn't know any of them would do it. But most Scott air systems are set at 3000 psi but i seen the newer ones are aspiring to 4500 just like paintball. Either way it's news to me that they would or have means to fill your tank. You must have taken them some sort of fill adaptor to have them fill your tank. Either way if I was in their shoes I wouldn't have done it for you.
Sorry but my opinion,

I would have to check my tanks when I get home, but I'm almost positive there's no burst disk on a SCUBA tank. That is unless they suddenly changed it.

I'll check the tank when I get home emmit, I sort of just took their word on it, and didn't really pay it any attention, because I had another scuba tank that had air in it.
"hep" the local fire department has players that we play with so they just always fill them for us for free, and the fire department out of thier budget bought the adapter to fill the tanks, so that was sweet of them. Of course this is all just a vol. fire department.
