I don't have one, but nice find. Haven't seen em before. $1899- guess that's somewhat reasonable for what you're getting in that size of a package. Way too steep for me though, I'll stick with my blackberry.

I saw that when it was still in it's developmental stages. It still doesn't come with any handrecognition software. You have to use thirdparty software. That just adds to the cost, but I guess if you're willing to dish out $1899 or $1999 for it then what's another couple hundreds bucks. I'd rather have it included already.

papa johns pizza out here in NM is giving away free blackberries when you buy two pizzas. Of course you have to pay for the service but that just seems amazing to me.

I've heard bad things about blackberries, im sticking with my Clie TJ37 for now. i guess youd have to hook up an external drive to run cds on the OQO

I've got a company provided b-berry and it's pretty cool. Only complaints I have are:

1. The phone earpiece is nearly worthless
2. Wish it had some of the functionality of the palm pilot. ie add on software

yeah the add-on sofware is really nice. wish id gone with the pocket pc instead of palm os though, i hear its more like a windows os. got this really cool remote though off the internet, it was freeware. i can program all the remotes around the house to that one (the height of laziness  )

My blackberry is provided through Sprint Nextel, real handy. My email goes both to it and my laptop, they share an inbox. If I add a contact on the laptop, it adds it on the blackberry, and vice versa. There's also a system set up through the company where if one of my cell sites has a problem, it will send an alarm through email.
It makes my job so much easier.

the problem with b-berries as I see it is that they keep you at work when you aren't at work.

same reason guns are smaller...portability. a pc like that could fit into your pocket for you to do pretty much anything anywhere.
