Well I mean if you had some senerio buggy that you needed a fully-auto gun that you could have loads of paint w/o running out would be ok. Like a big tub with a line running into the loader, then the warp sends it up. I could see that working.

ya i was hopin to see opinions on shooting it off handed cause if u pop out one side its all good u pop out the other ure gonna have a huge target so im wonderin y u would use a warp

if you pop out the side where the warp feed is you turn the gun 90* so that all the person see's is a hopperless gun and a bit of your mask. Im thinking of getting it but im going to try it out before hand.

How Fast can it shoot?

like Jason said...you pretty much won't be able to shoot off hand...once you put the warp feed on there you won't be able to get your hand in there to grip the marker, and pull the trigger...as for how fast the WF is supposed to be...ask AGD...

I have one and use one...

It's not for everyone.

Pros:
- For the 20-30 shots or so that are within the Powerfeed system and tube, you will NOT outshoot it, it can feed at ~30 per second.
- No more hopper hits. If you get hit in the hopper, you would have gotten hit in the chest/mask anyway, it no longer sticks out.
- You can shoot the gun for those 20-30 shots at any angle you want, yes even upside down.

Cons:
- Expensive ($160-200)
- Heavy
- Changes the weight distribution of your gun, get used to it or hate it, your call.
- One more thing on your gun that can break (haven't had a problem with mine, but you never know)
- Realize that while the first 20-30 shots will NEVER be outshot, the feeder is running at normal feed speed, so that if you shoot a string of 50+ shots ALL faster than your loader can feed, you may outfeed it. I don't see this as a real possibility.
- After the 20-30 shots in the system are shot at a strange angle, you'll have to let the loader refill the system before you're ready to shoot again. If you're using it to snap shoot at a strange angle, it'll feed all without you even noticing. If you hold it at 90 degrees for a couple minutes, you'll end up shooting air like anyone else would.
- You have to get used to not shooting offhand. You will need to learn to shoot by turning the gun at an angle and shooting. Depends on the person. I got used to it and like it, others do not.

I'd say either spend the money and if you don't like it, sell it... or if you can get one to try DEFINITELY do so. Realize that like anything new you'll take some break-in time to get used to it.

I had one .. was great for about 3 weeeks took it off and wont ever go back to it. I can say that i never outshot it and it fit my style of play but its just not for everyone.

I think it is so much better than it sitting on top. Very fast and haven't out shot it. Having it sidways where the
oppenet(sp?) can't see your gun if you have it tilted and a good angle on the person. It feeds fine when I have it tilted. I was sick of having hits on the hopper. Havent had one hit on the hopper yet. Love it and keeping it on!

I liked it for snap shooting, that's about it.

Hated it off the break. If I was running left and the hopper was on the right side of the gun I would always smack it into my leg. Didn't like how it blocked the LCD. I didn't like how I COULD NOT use my other hand.

Basically I never got used to it. But it was fun to shoot 14+ bps with no breaks.

This makes no sense to me and the whole debate with a WF is that you will no longer have a hopper hit anymore.
Because if a ball was going to hit your hopper (which is no longer there with a WF) it will hit your mask more than likely. Unless you blind fire like some newbie and only your marker is out. This is just my take on the WF and my argument that they supossedly eliminate hopper hits, but still doesnt eliminate whats right behind that non-existent hopper now. Your mug or chest either way you would have been hit.
My 2 cents

He is saying that after you put the warp on, it overlaps with your body, so it essentialy eliminates some of your profile.

I dont know anyone who shoots with the hopper directly infront of their mask (kinda hard to see then ...)

There's another drawback to them. If you take a hit on the feed tube be sure to clean it out before the next game 'cause I can almost guarantee that you broke a ball in there.

I've had this happen to me twice. The first time I didn't think about it and it caused me all sorts of grief before I could clean it out.

Overlaps your body? That means its the same as your body right?

And I dont mean directly in front of your mask. But dont you sight down the barrel too? Which is right below the aforementioned hopper? Well all I can say is if you want to get into a snap shooting match with a Warped Feed get a hold of me. And no this is not a flame bro just friendly conversation.

Yeah, when I'm playing back. It's too heavy and cumbersome for use as a front player.

RexTheKing

It lets you have 20+ more balls before you have to reload (depending on your tube length).

Lensman
10-12-2002, 09:38 PM
Look at it this way. You have to preload the tube with about 20 balls before the marker gets any balls. Those twenty are wasted because once they're in the tube the only way to get them out is to push them through with more paint from the hopper or to invert the marker (and tube) to get a couple balls at a time into the feed neck. You ever try inverting your gun to get a shot or two out as a back player? By the time you're that low on paint, you have either won or are screwed because they're coming for you and one or two balls aren't (usually) going to cut it.

I run warp feed, and yes that can be a problem with it. I haven't had this problem though, most of the people who I see play with it have extra paint with them. I am also a forward so I don't shoot that much, but I bring a pod every game.

I have a 2000 angel lcd....I play front I've been playing for 6 years...and I love warp..I wouldn't be able to shoot my gun as fast as I do now ..NO WAY!~..if you have to shoot out of the left side of the bunker...tilt the gun sideways..it still shoots..the warp can only feed up to 16 bps..I have an eclipse frame on my angel..and if you set it short enought it causes trigger bounce..I have reached 19 bps..I shot through a timed chrono and it's also proven on my LCD screen..I had to make a few adjustments to the warp to feed that fast though like..soldering another 9 volt adapter to the board to give it more power & getting a tighter rubber bad..and while I was at it I put a on/off switch on it..it costed next to nothing..now my warp feeds 22 bps....and yes I can fully shoot 19 bps..if you want proof email me and I will send you pics..of my LCD screen to prove it and my gun..jg44_defiant@hotmail.com....but it's all personal preference...people say it's to heavy..go work out....but yes it's a pain at first..get used to it..but like I said it's personal preference..

I'm not dis'ing the Warp. I just said it's not for everybody. I usually play with one but I can understand why someone wouldn't want one on their marker. Just trying to be objective about it, that's all.

i have a question concerning the warp feed. i have a warp feed....connected to a 12v revy with xboard. my batteries (rechargable) on both the warp and revy only lst me about one days worth of play, then i have to recharge them...does anyone else have this problem, or is it just mine and should i return them?

DiSaStErPiEcE666
10-20-2002, 07:39 PM
Rechargables only have a short life inspectancy.....I used them and didn't like it...yeah it might save money...but it's always better to get good batteries..I would think atleast..I like to use personally Titanium E's...they are powerful and last an extremely long time..

Action75
10-20-2002, 07:49 PM
how long do the titanim e's last you?

DiSaStErPiEcE666
10-20-2002, 08:12 PM
Well let's see I practice every weekend for 8 hours and the batteries last for that one week and the following..so 16 hours of life and prolly more...IDk never kept track..never had to...I just know you have to get batteries once and a while..the only thing with Tit. is they are kinda expensive..but you never know about those sales..good battery..I give them A+

5150
10-20-2002, 10:57 PM
But can you lengthen the tube?

Action75
10-21-2002, 12:30 AM
yes, call agd or email them, they can make u a custom length tube...u just have to specify how long you want it to be

I want one thats a mile long. I would NEVER run out, lol.

i persoanally do not like warp for several reasons.
1. ugly
2. heavy
3. expensive
4. wouldn't get used to shooting off handed with it
5. its not as fast as claimed. warpig did a test and it onlyshoots 16.6 bps max which i doubtany one shoots that fast during a game. and also warpig concluded you can only shoot shors burst with is like 10 or 12 shots
6. i do just fine with my revy and a lowrise and so do all my teamates and the majority of professional players

if you get shot in the chest... when you should have been shot in the hopper..... you have some issues i would think

i dont know anyone who aims with there tits and shoots like rambo.... thats the only way i can see being shot in the chest.

and if my face was behind my hopper... i again am aiming with my tits.... still an amazing feat. your mask and head(mine atleast) are slightly off to the side and definetly not more then an inch above the top of my gun. which by coincidence is about equal to the height of my feed tube and adapter and WAY below the height of where that Blimp would be. hence why i use a warp.
