ok, theres a realy good deal that i might take advantage of for an 04 Speed. i REALLY wanna put eyes in in but the eyeQ is just too expensive in terms of the price of the gun. I saw the predator boards and the dm4 eyes that work in it and im wondering if it's worth it. i know the 04's have sensi and i want to be able to shoot fast (ramp and no-ramp) and my friends told me that sensi sucks and its capped at 15bps, and it chops like mad, and blah blah blah. i just want to know if 1. if its worth it and 2. how hard is it to route the wires for the eyes? thanks

Predator boards are around 250-350 bucks, so you might as well get the Euro Speed conversion. Sensi is a good system, it doesnt work all the time, but works well when it does. With an 04speed, and sensi calibrated, its capped at 30bps. With sensi off, the board is capped at 22bps. So, its plenty fast. If you want the pred, go for it, but flying my speed was the best investment i have done for my angel so far. Save up a bit more money, and get the Fly board.

i think you can get the pred board itself for like 150, but that's without the eye install. if you can do that yourself, go for it, it's a great board, but if you're gonna pay the 300 for the full predator install, you might as well get the euro board MT conversion for the same price.

sensi is just fine (if setup properly) to use until you can splurge on the MT conversion (the best upgrade in paintball).
sensi's dont chop, broken sensi's chop!
you can always get the euro board conversion for around $300 and later (when its released) upgrade to the tadao board if you want more than the simple (but awesome!!!) euro speed board.
i have an 04 SPEED with the euro board and its coocoo bananas fast! i really cant say enough about the conversion.
as far as predator boards, i know little about them. so i cannot give an educated oppinion about them

what exactly is the mt mod? (sorry, i eally dont know anything about angels) i was doing a bit more reading and it seems as though in order to stick eyes in it, u gotta do a lotta milling. so, for now, igf i choose to get it, i will probably stick with the sensi until i determine that eyes would be better or i have the money to burn.

The MT mod is the eye conversion. Bascially they take the board, sensi, and the entire COPS system and replace it w/ the laser eyes and the Fly board.

Yes there is a lot of milling out. BUT....w/ the MT's doing it, it looks professional!

Edit: Well I had suggested a WAS/ACE conversion by www.warpedsportzla.com but the euro speed conversion from the MT's is about the same price and more professional looking, not to mention you would still have a led display. I found having eyes is a very good up for speed's my sensi was never setup as good as I wanted it to be so I sold the speed I had to a friend and got one with a WAS/ACE conversion done to it for a reasonable price.
