I try to find the "mythic" zero-kick point on my new G7. And i cannot. I drop my lpr to 42 and my dwell is at 8 and it kick like my jack-drill. I want to know if the minireg output can have something to do with the kick. Cause at this lpr pressure i must unscrew the minireg at is limit to chrono at 265. If someone can explain to me all the step to find the zero-kick i will be very very very please.

thank

A high input can make the gun kicky.

I would raise your LPR a bit, then lower input pressure. You will just have to fiddle with it, as every gun is different.

as long as you are trying to propel a mass (paintball) and are utilizing a compressed gas to propel the mass, you will NEVER eliminate or create a marker with "zero" kick. Basic physics. Just shoot fast and you will never tell

The "zero-kick" is more of a marketing name then fact. It is next to impossible for a 2.75lbs marker to shoot a .68 caliber paintball @ 280-300fps without experiencing any recoil.

So again the "zero-kick" ram unit is just WDP marketing hype that many people swallow. Another would be the 14-way valve (pneumatic solenoid), it is only either a 3-way or 4-way solenoid that many of the other markers use.

Many of the other marker manufacturers are also guilty of hyping up their marker. In the end, it is totally the respondsibility of the purchaser to deseminate bwtween BS and the truth. Of course some people don't really care and accept BS as the truth.

well luber, there is a reason WDP has this Zero kick thing and it is hyped up.

Ive shot plenty of G's, and i do have to say very very little recoil in most of them.

WDP is just trying to bring a few matrix users back into the angel family. If you think the G7 is hyped because of this, look at any marker made by dye and smartparts(shockers and IONs have minimal kick as well )

solid snake...If you read my post. I was never trying to solely accuse WDP of Marketing Hype. Many marker manufacturer have the same practice.

What I was trying to point out was that the term "Zero Kick" is false and users should be aware that it is probably just a term and not FACT. All markers have some form of recoil, minimal or not.

Also, the term "14-way valve" is also probably just WDP's term for saying 3-way or 4-way solenoid. WDP never used a 14-way solenoid for any of its markers. I do not even think there is a 14-way solenoid with such small demensions.

here are a couple of Solenoid Manufacturers site:

http://www.smcetech.com/CC_host/pages/custom/templates/smc_v2/prodtree_node_2.cfm?&cc_tvl=&cc_nvl=%28%28catalogCode%2Csmc%29%2C%28lineCode%2C V%5FM%29%2C%28nodeCode%2CNode%5F10615%29%2C%28prod treeID%2C10615%29%2C%28nodeCode%2CNode%5F10615%29% 29

Many markers claim to be either the faster, lightest, most efficient, have the best technology, or even the Coolest. There are even manufacturer that make new "terms" to fool the consumers of better technology or performance.

BOTTOM LINE dont believe the hype

"A G7 shooting a paintball will never have zero-kick"
