That is the way it goes. Right now there is a Fly for $400 on another board & a G7 just sold for $800 on another board. When it is no longer the latest & greatest the demand & resale drops off.

The gun looks great. The only thing I don't like compared to the stock G7 is that on the Fly, the eye covers are not flush with the body. I've noticed that the eye covers on the G7 (compared to my A4 Fly) keep the eyes/ribbon cleaner. The Fly G7 eye covers appear to just lay on the side of the body (like the A4 Fly). I would think this would allow more paint/dirt under the covers...*cough, cough*...not that I get hit a lot...

WDP made the eye covers more exposed because it is one of the main focuses of the gun. yeah, it may not be as functional as the covers on the g7, but it accentuates the fact that you are shooting the fastest gun on the planet.

I'm not flaming, but how do exposed eye covers "accentuate the fact that you are shooting the fastest gun on the planet"? Letting on-lookers know that you have eyes? Every high end gun made right now has eyes.

Also, are the G7 Fly internals any different from the regular G7?

Also, are the G7 Fly internals any different from the regular G7?They are the same internals as the G7 but they will all come with the new smalled/thinner valve stem that takes up even less room in the G7 Fly.

But that is not just for the G7 Fly, as far as I know, all the G7's come with the new stem.

The Fly still screams just like the G7.

yes, every high end gun has eyes. It just seems to me that the eye covers on angels are much more pronounced. and wdp does that for a reason. they want to say ( to non angel users) "hey, the angel has eyes now. no more crappy sensi. you get great performance, now with the added benifit of break beam eyes (none of that reflective stuff) come buy one." and youre right, just because it has eyes doesnt mean its the fastest gun on the planet, but it sounds cooler that way :cool:

The only point I was trying to make (and it's all personal preference), is that I like the flush eye covers on the stock G7 vs. the raised/exposed eye covers on the Fly G7. Just looks smoother on the stock G7.

Not that I would turn down a Fly, but I just prefer the smooth look of the G7.

The eye covers bulge more, becuase they removed all of the metal that was around them to make the gun lighter.
