Well i ran my first pod of paint through my new 05 speed and on the very last ball from my halo it chopped. I was like '' ewww 1000 bucks and it choped''. I was like wtf? Shes got break-beam right? But i have also heard of other people haveing my same problem i have just had. What causes this? Is it becuase the force runs out when there are no balls in the trey of the halo? Can this be fixed?
My other question might be the answer to why it chopped as well. When i looked at my detents. One detent looks fine while the other detent is more pushed back inwards than the other one. Is this a major problem? Could this have caused a double feed?
My last questions is quite simple really. Exactly what is the best setting in the angel for a stock halo b? After i chopped, i got scared and lowered my hopper setting in the angel to ''forcefeed type'' insted of the ''fast-forcefeed type''. Was this a bad idea? Do i need to increase it back to ''fast-forcefeed type''. Reason why i did it cuz i thought ''hey, maby the reason why i chopped was becuase my settings were to high for the halo b and i simply ''out-shot'' the hopper it's self?
Thanks for looking and i hope i can get answers to all my questions

Ok, the reason why you chopped is becaue it was the last ball. There where no other balls on top if it to force it into the breech. Yes, it does have breakbeams. Yes, if you put the hopper setting on 3 lights it should be good. I use the team board and I can run mine on 4 lights. Ive never chopped, but have had 3 barrel breaks on 8 cases of paint.

thanks for the link's bigal1. What was the way to tell if i need to adjust my ram or not? Didn't i need to stick my finger down the neck and feal if the bolt is flush with the inside of the breach? I saw you had some blowback issues bigal1 and i might have the same issue. Did adjusting your ram help you alot? How hard is it to adjust my ram? I read the manual and all, i just don't want to f-up my baby if i went and started to adjust things. Then again i have only shot a bag of paint through it.

When you open the breech, is there a little force? and then you hear a click? If not, you need to tellokit to push your ram forward. 50 bucks at www.fixmyangel.com

I continue to have some paint inside the chamber and occasionally up inside the feed neck but never any evidence of broken balls or chops. It's so minimal that I don't worry about it. For example if I shoot a case of paint in one day, I will see a little tudge of paint inside.
Ram adjustment is necessary as whitepimp259 describes above. If you hear a click, you're good to go.
Ram is easy to adjust. Recommend investing in angel tool kit.
There's a thread here, think it's in the technical forum on ram adjustment. if you can't find, let me know.

i have only opend my breach a handfull of times cuz the gun is brand new but when i do open the breach, i haft to give it a little push to git it open. I Don't remember if i heard a click or not, when does the click occure? When i first start to open the breach, or when i open it all the way till it stops? Like i said befor, i kinda haft to give it some muscle to open the breach. Past angel breaches i have opened like my first ,03' speed and my last 05 speed i got when they came out, allways opend very easily. So does the 05 speed i have now not need a ram adjustment since its harder to open the breach?

I notice the click as I close the breach, not open it.
Also note that whatever you hear or feel when the marker is not gassed up is not representative of proper ram adjustment. As Shaq noted in another thread yesterday, ram adjustment is accomplished with the marker gassed up. So I 'm saying adjust the ram correctly when it's gassed up and then don't worry about what it feels or sounds like when it's not gassed up.
