Ok, I got some questions for you guys...

1 - Lately my speed has been kind of off. My dwell was at 3 lights, I started getting FSDO, so I turned it up to 4 lights, same thing. Now its at 5 lights, and im getting horribale efficeny. Today when I aired it up, I had 3000psi. I shot a hopper and a half and had 1800psi left. What might be the problem here?

2 - Its come that time when I need to grease my gun. What should I put grease on, and how much should I use?

3 - How in the hell do you get the breech knob off?

This Question is for a MT!! - If I wanted to get my gun evoled, is the shipping included in the 65 dollar overhaul?

Thanks AOG.

Here's the manual: http://www.wdp.tv/manuals/

Here's some useful links:

pull the breech knob out towards you, rotate the knob counter clockwise to unscrew the knob. once it's off, you remove the back plate, watch the spring that will want to pop out, and then slide the pin out.

Ive tried that, and it seems like the knob will break off. I got one rotation and stopped cause it seemed like I was using more force than nessacry

OK, everything was figured out, exect the dwell problem.

your getting bad air eff casue your dwell is way high, your dwell is way high because your were having FSDO, you were having FSDO because your gun needs to be lubed.

Yay for run-on's.

It was just a pain to get it to come over the backplate, so I just grabbed it with some pliers. And I Figured out my dwell problems...My LPR is low. But i dont have any shims

by low, how low do you mean?

Look carefully at what you removed because the shims stick to other stuff and you might not see them. Regardless, if it's low, you'll need shims and I picked some up from a MT. They're cheap enough.

and one more thing, if the breech pin was hard to get out, it may be that the pin is either bent or the breech wasn't fully closed (not sure how that could happen) but I suspect the binding is between the pin and the breech. Check your pin. I bet it's bent.

Nope, wasnt bent at all. Im not quite sure on how low, but both rocky and Ken said to add shims.

I'll be getting my toolkit, shims, and grease sometime next week, hopefully. I'll be sure to post my LPR pressure. But today I noticed the valve pin thing(little long peice with a red tip) had some serious wear from where the spring touched it. That will be replaced when I grease my gun After this tourny saturday.

OK, got the toolkit,

LPR is 60psi. I think its suspoed to be at 65, I'll Add a shim.
Dwell - 3 lights

OK, the LPR is now at like 63-64psi.

I dont know when ill have a chrono to see about the fsdo.

if it shoots fine at 60, you don't have to change it.

Well, I think thats the whole issue here, I gotta have a high dwell or else I get FSDO. High dwell means §§§§ty efficeny so thats what im trying to figure out here. Ken, Trigga, And rocky all said it sounds like the LPR is low, so I added and shim and im waiting to get access to a chrono to test it out.

I'd trust their assessment then.

As you know, there's a million things you can tweak. I personally like my LPR set low. So I compensate for that with higher dwell (and yes that effects my efficiency but I wanted to stop breaking balls so it was worth it to me) I've got my LPR at something around 45 psi.

i've got my lpr at 55 and dwell at 8 and can't be happier with how this thing rocks.... here's a question for the MT's ... is there any way i could make love to my speed...
