View Full Version : Angel Eyes Question
Seems like the paint I was shooting today was crappy... oily and had a break in 2 of the bags, so seemed like they were breaking.
anyway my question.. think the paint clogged the eyes so the gun was shooting a ball only every 6 seconds or so... no matter how fast i pulled the trigger...
do the eyes look for a ball, then for no ball and then a ball again (i.e. a full cycle) before they will let you shoot again? So if they are covered (by paint this time) that they are not seeing the ball leave.

Yeah, you are correct. The eyes are seeing the ball, waiting for it to leave, and so on. When you get your eyes working, turn on the gun and put your finger in the breech. Make sure theres no air! Now keep your finger there and slowly pull the trigger. The noid will only click ever 5 or 6 seconds.
Clean your eyes, and make sure theres no tears in the ribbon.

it would seem to me that if the eyes don't detect a ball, they won't allow the marker to shoot no matter how long you wait and the only way you can get the marker to shoot is to turn the eyes off.
so the fact that your marker shoots with the eyes turned on no matter how long it waits between shots is indicative of another problem.

look when it happend to me i found out the eyes were grounding out on the eye cover. You see the little nubs on the back of the eye ribbons are to long and if the the eye covers are tight then the ground out. Try loosening the eye covers and see if it works. if so then you need to have someone cut down the little points. See if that work and let me know

i guess i don't understand. the only time my eyes were dirty, they wouldn't sense a ball present evne when a ball was present.
