Ok, I designed this using eMachineShop's (http://emachineshop.com) program, and this Is what I got. A G7 bolt (yes it should be the proper dimensions, not an old style bolt...), with venturi porting and oring slots for better efficiency and less blowback. All leading edges are rounded to reduce chopping (like the G7 chopped in the first place...). Yes, I know, I still need to make the pin. What do you guys think? Any criticism is appreciated. Also, If anybody wants to purchase them, I will have to wait until about 6 or so people want them, because the company charges a flat fee of about $150, so to make 4 of these is only about $30 more than one. so I'm not payed $160 for one bolt.

Looks nice, but wont the flat face promote chopping more than the current soft face bolt?

O-rings = drag, leave them out.

thats right, you should make the bolt with a cupped face, try it, also try it with an open face as well.

It's a good idea but everything you have jotted down has already been tried. The ramped air inlet has the highest flow and least resistance of any other bolt. The center stem types create a great amount of air resistance which is why there are very few bolts out there that are still using a center stem and those that do use one have a different air flow system allowing for an efficient center stem.

The O-rings like has already been mentioned are efficiency robbers due to the increased drag in the breech. Also with o-rings you will need to keep them lubed and this will be a dirt magnet to the breech.

The flat face will not necessarily chop more than a soft face bolt but I would perconally make the face slightly cupped at the very least.
