Like it says i got a pritty bad leak on my 05 speed between the top of my forgrip and where the forgrip meets the frame. There is a small gap that the air seems to be comeing out of. When i back my velosity off, the leak gets worse. How can i fix this without haveing to send it off for just a leak???

If you take the Mini-Reg off, there is a bean shaped O-ring that sits on top of the reg. Make sure that is in place and oiled. Also, make sure your mini-reg isn't just loose in relation to the body of the gun. :aww:

What if the bean o-ring is not lubed? Would that mean leakage?

It could, potentially (cause leakage.)

most likely either an o-ring in the flashtank (top part of foregrip) or the lpr...

Ah, the LPR is a possibility too. ^^

but then wouldnt that be ''Comeing'' from the lpr? I tried to take my forgrip off, unscrewed the main screw connecting it to the body. It won't come off??????

the minireg is hard to get off if you don't get that last allen head screw out of there. you're going to need an allen wrench with a very long shaft in order to reach all the way through the minireg body so that you can reach the allen screw and still be able to turn the wrench. Look in your manual and you'll see there's one last allen head screw accessible only from inside the minireg body. get that out and the minireg will come off.

yup. you have to take the internals out of the minireg to get to that last screw...
the manual will guide you through it.
did you get the gun new? surprised there's a leak there unless the minireg has been recently removed.

k.
well, let us know. I'm guessing the oring wasn't seated properly. could be a knick or just not inside the groove correctly.

well they called and said that there was a '' CHIP '' in the reg that was causeing it to leak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now i should of had this speed 5 weeks ago in perfect working condition. First they gave me a screwed up body to where the bolt would hardly slide, and the body was horribly blemished and scratched, OUT OF THE BOX!! Then the vernier wheels were acting screwy as well. So they sent it back and put a brand new ''body'' on my 90* frame cuz all they had left was *45 framed angels and i didn't want a 45* frame. So after all that i got it back last week and now the REG was chiped on the inside and leaking and the back vernier wheel had no effect on the trigger pull what so ever. Im going to my pro-shop in the morning befor they send it back ''again'' to get a new reg put on it and im probly going to raise HELL about all thats happened. Should i DEMAND!!! a brand spankin new speed??? Or just let them send it back to me with the vernier wheel fixed and a new reg???? I payed lots of hard earned cash for this gun and wanted nothing but perfection, insted i now have an angel thats going to be ''pieced'' together from other angel parts. What should i do????????

did you agree to buy a new speed or a used one? If you didn't get what you contracted for, I'd raise some guff with them.
The other thing you have to at least consider is, do you intend to continue doing business with these folks?
It is my impression that those who want your continued business will work to make you happy.
you could also allude to the fact that you are a member of this forum and will be happy to steer potential buyers towards or away from them in the future.
Maybe I've just been lucky but the paintball shops I've dealt with have always gone out of their way to make sure I was happy and I tell you there were a couple of times when I was not but they made it right. If they are a reputable dealer, you'll find out and know whether to continue business with them or not.

they are really good people at my pro shop. Its not them its the vendor they get their angels though, ''warped sports'' of Nebraska. Thoes are the people who send my pro shop the f'd up speeds. He sent my gun back today and said he would try and convince them to send me a brand new speed over the phone. If not, then i just get the 05 speed he sent out, back to me with a new reg.
