Hey guys, got my new speed today and its sick as hell. Anyways the trigger is actin kinda screwy and i hope i can get some help with it. For starters, the ''over all'' verner wheel has no effect on the trigger. I backed out the set screws and began to set the overall travel, click after click goes buy the the trigger does not move? :notsure: I moved it frontways and backways with no trigg movement at all.

As for the noid, it's makeing my speed, ''dare i say'' SLOW?? When i turn the eyes off and start walking, the noid click sounds EXTREMLY slow. I mean i can get it into the red led's easy but it won't hold there. The clicks of the noid are slower than my bros' 05 spyder electra  . First i was like, '' well its the trigger''. So i started trigg adjustments but as i told you befor i didn't get very far with the over all verner wheel not working. The trig is very nice but since i can't seem to set it correctly, its has a lot of front to back ''slop'' after it hits the opto and then clicks.

So basicly i don't know what to do now. I have verry little experiance with the new speeds and i hope i can get all this straightend out. Im going to air it up for the first time tomorrow and dry fire a bit since i have no batts for my new halo b. Are there any other things i need to do or set befor i air it up? Thanks for takeing your time to read my thread. I hope you good people here at AOG can help me clear my probs up and answer my q's. Thanks again.

1 - Make sure your moving the wheel to the front of the gun for the trigger to move. Also, look at the front of the trigger, see the hole? You can use an allen wrench to move that screw to make your activation point where you want it.

2 - Yes, to me the noid does sound slow, but most likely thats because the rigger makes more noise then the noid. I can easily hit 17-19bps on my speed.

3 - It should just come set already, just grab an ASA and air her up!

Hope that helps
-Matt

first, do you have a copy of the manual? http://www.wdp.tv/manuals/

use the manual and adjust your toe adjustment screw. that procedure will also set your vernier wheels correctly.

thanks Matt.... i did all you said but the back wheel will not effect the trigger at all!

Thanks Bigal1... I have the manual and i have read it about 124396984530 times. Still, it did not help me what so ever. Is it possibly my wheel is broken??????

Also, i think the stock ( wich is my speed now) Tr setting is 1 correct? Would it help if i set it to 2?

TR would be bounce. It depends on what version software you have. I've heard alot of people with versions 6 and 7 cant get it to bounce, only ramp on PSP mode...

Ok, so when you turn the back wheel all the way farward, your trigger pull stays the same? And it stays the same even if you turn it all the way back?

i have the same problem with my speed, i can get it up to red and all, but it wont go above 9-10 bps, i dunno what it is, ive read the manual millions of times, and all trigger ajustments but it just doesnt seem to go fast when teh eyes are off :|

well i forgot that when the eyes are off it cap's at 15 pbs. Turn the eyes on and start walking paint with it. You will be surprised that it will be alot easier to hold it in the red.

ok well i ran the first pod through it and it shot pritty good. Then after i stoped ropeing  , the top of the forgrip started a small leak where there is a small gap between the gun and the entire forgrip it's self. Can i stop this buy increasing/decreasing the velosity? I didn't have the correct allen key to do so at the time. What am i to do now? I have a leak and my back vernier does not funtion??????? :notsure:

whitepimp...your not helpin me bro. But thanks anyways. I asked what the settings were, not to re-set them. How do i stop this forgrip leak? When i turn the velocity up the small leak stays the same, but when i turn it down, the leak gets bigger.

It also seems my angel likes to suck up all my air. Should i change my dwell? What is the dwell sock?

Dwell - 3-5 lights, i set mine at 3
TR - 1 light
Hopper - 3?

If i remember correctly, there isnt any o-rings of that sort between the frame and the grip frame...I'd just say hell with it and send to a MT.

i havent messed with the Tr so its stock. My hopper is on ''forcefeed type'' since my halo is not vitory boarded yet.

Im confused with the dwell settings, the manual said it has between 7-and 15 for the dwell time. So i was like wtf? Do i need to adjust my dwell to consive my air? I have no clue what the led's indicate when it comes to dwell.???

I really don't want to send to a MT cuz i leave for college here in 3 weeks. And i hear the turnaround time from MT's are horrible, like 3 to 4 weeks??

Those settings sound right I have my dwell down to 1 I don't know how but it just happened yesterday. I agree with white pimp about sending it to a master tech or just pm one of the to see if they know what the problem is.

ish

dwell settings are:
less lights less dwell less air
more lights more dwell more air

if your gun is leaking its probably not a settings, somthing is probably broken... get it fixed

what could it be? An o-ring maby?

AngelSpeedbackman939

sounds like it. It may be the solnoid gasket being put in wrong or something of that type. So may possiablilities.

well im afraid if i take the forgrip off the frame that i will ''F'' sumthing up. Is there an o-ring to get to inside there?

no air goes throught there. Sounds like the hammer or solnoid just take it to your local proshop or send it in.

the default or stock settings of your speed are actually explained in the manual.

I answered the foregrip leak in your other thread.

is you want you gun to shoot faster, switch it to "fast forcefeed type". i have my speed set on that w/ the stock halo board and it rips.

as for the vernier wheels, just take the trigger frame off the gun and see if it is seated correctly. i have a cp trigger on my speed, and when i was replacing it i had to make sure the wheels were seated correctly for it to work.

lastly for the grip, it seems like an o-ring could be cut or at least have a gash in it. take out the mini reg, and inspect all of the internals. while doing so, it would be best to just take the grip off as well and inspect it. just follow the manual for repacement of parts. hope that helps...

thanks guys, im really worried about my vernier wheel tho. Ok the wheel being not seated correctly makes alot of sence. But could there be any other reason to why it does not effect the trigger pull?

mwpaintballer1

just check to see if the wheel is upside down. on one side of the wheel youll see that it elevates slightly in a rotating direction, while on the other it is simply smooth and flat. check to make sure that the sloped side faces the trigger. if so and it is still not working, double check that the wheels are balanced between front and rear. the wheels require a balance, and if they are not, you may experience problems with your trigger...

like my 05 speed has the trigger mod.. witch is the rear magnet from the wheel is removed.... so all the wheel is there for is to hold the trigger in place... so its basicly doing the same excat thing urs is doing, except u want urs 2 work i gehetto-fied mine.

vernier wheels can even be put in upside down, they have a little post in the top which seats them correctly. i think the problem may be with the post on your trigger that hits the wheel. it sounds like it's either too short or not there, if you take your grip frame off, the top of your trigger should have 2 posts that come into contact with the wheels. sounds like your back one is missing. I know the posts on the A4 trigger were removable.

make sure you disconnect the wires from your board before removing the frame though, i've seen alot of people screw up their angels that way. forgetting about the wires and then ripping or pinching one.

There is an o-ring in the top of the minireg/foregrip, you said it started leaking after firing off a rope?, mabye it got frozen or was pinched somehow when put together, it sits in an odd-shaped hole so it's possible it my have been pinched. but it kinda sounds like it got cold and contracted. and popped out of place. the parts kit that came with the angel probably has an extra one. it's easy to replace.

if your guns still under warranty they'll probably send you a new trigger if your missing that post.

hope this helps, no offense to the MT's cuz they know their stuff, but i can't stand the thought of letting someone else work on my marker. i'd check that stuff before you spend the money to send it away. (i'm also a university student so i know how tight money is)
