Tried to attach the hose to the asa connector and once the air is connected there is a small leak out of the metal part that the hose slides into, is this normal ? Any tips on how to sort it out ? I had a hard time installing with the drop forward, etc. I had to remove the hose from the connector a few times and im worried the hose has worn a bit (the clips cut grooves into the hose). I dont understand how an air tight seal is supposed made with the clip and connector anyway, doesnt appear that secure to me ?

get new hose or if the hose you have is long enough cut abit off the end. Make sure to as straight as possible

I think that is part of the problem, the hose coming into the asa is not straight, problem I have is that the drop forward brings the asa very close to the reg, the hose is very stiff and wont allow me to easily get it straight ... maybe I should look at some pics of peoples setup's

maybe you should try to replace the straight macro line connector with a 90 elbow. (since its so close you can just use a really short piece of macro line)

I was gonna be a smartass and say that maybe you need to change the o-ring on your CO2 if it's leaking from the asa... but I'm in a generous mood today. ;-)
You don't necessarily need the line to be straight, but you neet the cut to be clean.... not angled at all. Try trimming a tiny bit off the end of the line just to square it off... otherwise you might wanna consider getting rid of the drop forward and putting something like a unimount on the gun.
hope this helped

I went and got myself a lp tank, made no changes and there is no more leak... If I put a new hose on does it have to be the same as the hose that hte gun comes with ? I got a new hose and its the same diameter but the diamiter inside is bigger ie. the hose has thinner wall.

outer diameter of macro line is the same, its just some are thinner walls then others, in any case it should be fine, the one that comes with it is just really stiff but secure, must be a euro thing since the one that came with my ego was tough as heck too.
