View Full Version : G7 going turtle speed. Please help.
Okay I have a G7 with g 1.4 software. Settings are TR-3, mode-1, dwell-10, mrof-30 and trigger pull is about 3mm pull. I also took out the back magnet on the trigger. With balls I can only shoot 14bps. I'm shooting the G7 with a halo b with cheetah and a empire reloader b loader. I can easily get 19 with my ego. Try messing with the settings and trigger but still no go. Anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking maybe the board or opto switch. Your help will greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Try looking in one of the other threads here, someone had the same problem and trigga said something about some guns being capped at Mrof aorund 14 from factory ?
Deanomatic - I'll try look around. But mine is the 1.4 not the 1.5. But it's worth a try.

Do you have your hopper loader type set to the highest settings (16)? My arsenal was slow out of the box (monday) on the field and since then i've removed the magnet too and played with the trigger. I'll share the settings with you once i've proved that it works, since i can't really verify them now without paint (eyes off capped at 15).

here is a tip that I learned to set your trigger, open your grip, have your vernier wheels be at the stock settings, screw in the toe screw till it fires. Then from there
you can adjust the length of your pull and when you marker will fire, at
the fore mid or end of you trigger pull.

The hopper setting douse not effect my G7 that much. I have it at 8 and hitting 22ish.
Golobulus - I have my hopper speed at 12, I'll up it and see if it helps. And I have adjusted my trigger the same way you did and still shooting 14bps dry fire and with balls. Thanks for the advice though.

in talking to Sung, seems he solved his problem with slow bps by dropping his dwell down to 9, now he can get up to 22 bps, anyone have any reasoning to this? how can dwell affect bps?

lets see here..
less dwell= noid energized less time=ram isnt pushing bolt forward as long= more time the bolt is at rest= more time for a ball to enter breach= sooner the next ball can fire
