try both and see what you like best. This is an angel-owners forum so don't be surprised if you get biased answers saying "the G7 is better."

Before I got an angel I used to read around on the matrix forums and stuff, and a lot of them say the dmc isn't worth the extra money over the dm5 because it really doesn't weigh any less and there aren't any performance differences.

I would reccomend the G7 because I am not really inclined to spend a few hundred dollars more just to get rid of a couple ounces. I would get a DM5 over DMC and I would get a G7 over a DM5. Just my 2 cents. Try the guns out and you will find out fast.

DMC is made of hard plastic, with metal insides. If I wanted a plastic gun I would buy an ion and save some money in the process. 1500 dollars for plastic is not my idea of a good deal. It's lighter than a DM5 but I would take the DM5 over a DMC anyday.
Messed around with one at the denver NPPL, wasn't impressed.
Guy in booth hyped it up and said it was composite. I said "So in otherwords your telling me it is plastic." Guy waited didn't know what to say at first, then he said "Yeah it's a hard plastic."
Composite = Plastic :thumbsdow
Got an Arsenal G7 and couldn't be happer with it.

the dmc is made of part composite but it still felt a bit heavy. it is a good gun too. but the reason i went with the g7 was it look nicer to me. and i was told the angel has a higher re-sell value

I think the G7's are lighter, and much more comfortable to hold and handle. It is also, much much much more air efficient. And as far as accuracy, I think they are 6's. Good luck. I have a DM5 I need to sell if you go that rout :)

A team full of DMC users was marvelling at the speed of my G7 that had just mowed them down in a local tourney last weekend. Not the most valuable tidbit, but certainly some added perspective.
Id definently suggest getting both of them in your hands before dropping 1.3k+

They have a lousy resale value. As soon as new model comes out people (like myself) trade up and lose quite a bit in the process. It's the same with any marker or any electronic device for that matter. I don't think you should even be worring about resale value.
And as far as accuracy, I think they are 6's.
I don't even knopw what this means but accuracy is about the barrel to paint match....after that it's just physics. Some will argue that kick affects accuracy. But the truth is the gun is just as accurate it's the user who is unable to hold the gun steady that is the problem.

Your own skill probably had something to do with it as well.

:headoff: The G7 is also easier to fix if u get problems. With a G7 you can just fix the problems by the press of a button. With a DMC you have more difficulties.

what an easy question! well, take a good look at the DMC, it looks cool, from far away, ive seen and held one, the build quality is horrible, i could see the dryed up glue sticking out of components. why pay 1700 for it, its only an ounce lighter than the dm5. instead, try both the G7 and the DM5.
