I am thinking of buying a 05 speed. Can anyone tell me if they are worth it, and if there are any problems with them that i need to know about? Any help would be great.

few people here are going to tell you a speed isn't worth it. I recommend you go to another forum where angels aren't the predominant marker in use by the forum participants and ask them why you shouldn't buy an angel.

If you search here you will see the types of problems here that folks have. but remember those that aren't having problems aren't vocal about it here.

I would research the subject but overall if you know what you are doing with it it will fit you just fine.

This would be about the worst time to buy a Speed05. There are people saying that the Speed06 is just arund the corner (4-6 weeks). If the speed06 does come out within that timeframe, the speed05 value will drop. If you purchased a speed05 now for about $950 expect it to be worth around $400-500 this coming november or december. WDP marker have terrible resale value.

Known problems/common complaints of the speed05:

1.) Shutdown problem with from older firmware version
2.) Non-adjustable trigger tension due to the non-adjustable magnets fixed into the trigger and vernier wheels. Some people complain that the trigger is a bit stiff.
3.) Chops can be experienced with smaller paintballs. Rollback is an issue with the speed05. This has been fixed in the G7 with the lever-lock.

my angel was not takin care of at all from the person i bought it from.
But for being as bad as it was, it could of been worse.
Cobra will fix and it should be great.

Pleased with it for now, should be even more so once its all tuned up.

definatly take ANGEL LUBER's advice, angels have no resale value. with the 06 supposidly comin out soon id wait to see how fast the 05's drop.

once you get it tuned and locked in its a simple flip and ripp marker, no frills all kills... and such
