Thats kind of a redundant question....a volumizer does pretty much what its name implies..it increases volume. The volumizer increases air volume of the LPR. I guess what the question is does it benefit the IR3. For the most part no..its not like the Speed generation angels where a larger volumizer lowers the LPR pressure...however with the volumizer on the IR3 you CAN lower the LPR pressure to aboot 80 psi if you want...increase air efficiency somewhat but nothing huge. Now if you put a volumizer on the battery side now thats just pointless or for looks. The volumizer can benifit the IR3 but for the most part it doesnt do enough on its own to warrant purchasing one.

You are wrong, I downloaded a video off limewire that says that Large volumizers DO work on the speed.

what are you talking aboot? I never said the larger volumizers dont do anything on the Speeds...read the post again dude :headoff:

I got 2 new style Cobra volumizers. One for a little lower pressure and one for looks. I wish they made one that curves down to look like the fangs of a snake.

That would be cool

Ronny you are backwards on a couple parts in that.

A volumizer cannot lower pressure. A volumizer ALLOWS you to run a lower pressure as with low pressure you need more flow. By having the larger amount of air right there you can run a lower pressure.

Again a volumizer does not lower the pressure.

Another thing I'd like to point out is that the volumizer is for the VALVE side not the LPR side.

I think the problem here is I was referencing two different guns, the IR3 and the Speed, and I may be off when I say that the larger volumizer on the Speeds drop the operating pressure....if I am wrong I do appologize I havent done much research into the guns myself to be honest but I was told by someone when the speeds first came out that if you put the volumizer on the speed it drops the pressure right away. (I should know what im talking aboot before running my mouth =P) I do know that on the IR3 the volumizer doesnt drop the OP by itself...that is done by removing shims...however what is wierd right now is that I have the normal LPR spring stack and 4 shims on mine and it is still at 60psi....and I know the volumizer goes over the valve on the speeds but im more talking aboot the IR3
