Love my A4 but I have to "trick" it to hold a charge. Right out of the box I had to "jump start" it by having a local tech plug it into his wall charge for an hour. So I had a good long drive to do the next day and plugged it in for 4 + hours until it was fully charged(stoped cascading as manual says). The following Friday I pulled it out, turned it on and it said it was charged on 3 out of 4 bars. hmm, So I charged it on the way to the field until it was "full" and then played with it until about 600 shots when it dropped to one out of three bars. Charged it again, played till it was almost dead after 500-700 shots again. All I have done to it is put a low pressure tank on and play...no change in any settings whatsoever. The local tech told me he is seeing more and more A4's with dead batterys out of the box. Is this True or am I doing something wrong? I just cant believe you spend that much to have something crap out right out of the box. Someone tell me I am not SOL and there is just some setting I have to tweak?

Not sure what SOL means (so out of luck?) but mabe your back plate is on too tight.

First RTM. Now put two complete back to back charges on it. If it does not hold get a new battery.

No, not RTM, RTFM is more like it. I don't mean to be mean and offensive, but first check the troubleshooting section in the manual BEFORE posting, it saves server space, time (for both of us), and doesn't cause repetive motion injury (aka carpal tunnel syndrome).
