This probably won't sell to many markers but it would sure make the ones who do buy happier. The text description in the speed05 manual leaves a lot to be desired. If it weren't for the pictures, I wouldn't understand anything and I don't see the use in a quality manual where you have to study pictures to try and interpret what the words are telling me.

I'd also like a detailed description of how air moves throughout the marker. Knowledge is power.

Not knocking anyone's inteligence in any way but name one set of instructions, aside from Haynes car manuals, that is totally explicit in their instructions. Stereo and other Hi Fi type stuff, yeah right. Little do-it-yourself manual, nope, I just put together a bed for my step son and I think the instructions was written by a drunk monkey peaking on LSD. Military manuals, HELL NO, I've been in the Army long enough to know there are too many things open for interpretation it's not even funny. The Manuals the WDP puts out are way above the power curve as far as paintball manuals go, IMHO.

I tried to qualiy my comments by saying that the manual is good because it has pictures. If it weren't for the pictures it wouldn't be very good.

If the measure of a manual is how it compares to the rest of the manuals out there, that's not a very good measure. you're saying the rest are bad too so I should be happy with this one. I'm saying, let's make it even better.

I'm sure before long someone will actually explain how the air accutally moves through the gun, I would be surprised if someone made a 3D mock up of how it works.

As for the manual, I do have to agree the manuals are bad, but if I may make a suggestion. Take your gun apart if you feel comfortable and put it back to get her... start on a different part (I.E. just the exhaust side, maybe just the LPR side, maybe just the ram side) and do it a few times until you can do it with out the manual. I did this a few times until I could from memory put my gun back completely together and now, when asked to work on an older 2k3 LCD I was able to get the thing up and running in no time because I had that basic understanding.

This will hopefully make the manual deliema a little less of a headache.

NOTE: If your not mechanically inclined at all and, dont have the tools to do most of this work I would suggest it, but at 50 bucks the angel tools are indispensable, so buy some.

This public service announcement is brought to you by the letter V.

emmm.... ok. well Ken asked what would we like to see. That's my vote. WDP makes a superior product and the manual could use some work.

I agree that the current manuals are WAY ahead of any other manual. But there are a few places that dont cover the marker as well as it should. It wouldnt take much tweaking to get the manuals up to perfection.

i will agree that the manual is generally pretty dang good, but the one thing that isn't super clear is the "Loader" settings. now, i've only really had any experience with the Euro manual, but i don't really know the difference between "ForceFed" and "FastForceFed". There are few enough loaders on the market that they could suggest settings for the specific ones, like Revvy, Egg, Z-Egg, Stock Halo, and Victory/Angry Halo. this might be even more useful for guns like the 05 Speed that have a whole range of possible loader settings.
