Who said anything about making them look bad? It's a legitimate question that everyone deserved an answer for. Why would you suggest keeping it conceiled? If this was a personal problem I had due to bad service they provided me than yes I agree sending them a pm would suffice. But if it's a publicly known fact, why not present the question publicly?

For anyone that is confused: The MT's are 'partnering' with Tadao to make a MT/Tadao board. As far as most of us know the board is not backed by WDP. Read Preston's quote to understand better. :)

And I didn't take anything out of context, I copy/pasted the entire paragraph, It did not say anything about it being for only the eye conversion, therefore it was not out of context. I don't care about what matters to you as a consumer, I just asked a simple question and wanted an answer, it's that simple. Angel Fly - Conversion Kit

The Angel Force Master Techs would like to thank everyone for their patience. This project has been a long time in the making with many difficulties to overcome. You must all understand we have not simply taken a $30.00 board, screwed it into a gun and glued some wires on the outside - anyone can do that.

Angel Force has partnered with WDP (the manufacturer of the Angel) to give you the absolute best product for your money. The Angel Force Master Techs are the official representatives of WDP for warranty service and professional player technical support. As such we would never offer a product that was not fully approved and endorsed by the factory. That means that the products and services we offer will not void your warranty and you can rest assured that everything we do to your marker has 100% factory support.

The Fly conversion kit for the Angel 4 consists of a new Fly board, new Fly eye ribbon, new Fly eye strap and custom milled eye cover to deliver a factory-built look.

The Speed conversion consists of the same parts with the added bonus of having the fly board and screen.

This WDP endorsed conversion kit has the following benefits:

You retain all the factory Modes. With the Speed, you gain modes you never had.
We drill and block the diverter-plate reservoir to straighten the flow of air to the LPR and significantly lower the LPR pressure.
You get a clean, "factory-built" look with no glue, mess or unsightly gunk on the side of your beautiful Angel.
You enjoy the convenience of 6 fully qualified warranty stations located across North America, all waiting to help you should you need service.
You keep your factory Warranty. The Angel Force eye conversion is the only eye modification that has this seal of approval from the factory.
Here is a little background on this project. As Master Techs we began working on this conversion long before anyone outside of our group even knew the Fly existed. We sat down with WDP and examined the new Angel Fly to determine the best method of converting A4s and Speeds in order to keep them current with the Fly's awesome technology and firepower. We milled, drilled and banged heads until we came up with the current configuration. We presented it to WDP and they approved it, the first time a non-factory upgrade has ever been approved by them (they are perfectionists). As a matter of fact, John Rice, the designer of the Angel, was impressed with Russ and his handy work on the conversion. We have been testing prototypes for months to see if we could break them, without any luck. This is a rock-solid conversion.

Here is a recap of the features and benefits of the Angel Force Fly Conversion:

We are using 100 % WDP manufactured parts right down to the screws. This means that all parts can be easily obtained and replaced.
We are not using any glue, epoxy, or anything that will keep you from cleaning the eyes.

yes i have read that multiple times, thanks for posting it. As everyone can see now, I haven't done anything to alter it of any kind. It's posted exactly how it seems, and only the things relevant to this are posted. It didn't say in there that it applies ONLY to the fly conversion, which is my question. I don't know if you've noticed but I help people plenty, you can even check out my post record and the majority is helping someone tech a gun. Yet when i want a simple question answered for myself, all hell breaks lose, jesus christ.

ok look, lets start again. if you put any aftermarket board in your gun it will void the origonial 6 month warranty. now in saying this who provides the warranty service for the u.s and canada? who attends EVERY national event in the u.s.?. we do. if we sell you a board and you put it in and you havent damaged the gun we will repair your gun as if it was a warranty issue if it fit within the warranty parameters. the problem with your questions are they were not related to the development and advancment of the tadao/angelforce board. they were intentional stirring of the pot. we have never and never will advance the art of cheating via electronics. the tadao board is the farthest thing from a board designed to cheat. it is simply a 2nd choice from the stock board that uses a micro switch insted of a opto switch. people solicited us asking for a micro switch board, we did our home work, found out who was the smartest,most honest builder/designer and who would have the customers best intrest in mind. this was will from tadao.we will not void your warranty,we will not endorse cheating in any way,we will not release a board with the ability for the player to cheat via a mode. the thing that is annoying me about this thread is that it is so painfuly obvious the the questions are directly related to principal related to the fly conversion thread. why not just come out and ask hey you said you wouldnt ever support an aftermarket product why are you now? ill provide the answer here now. if wdp didnt want us or said it was not in the best intrest of the company we wouldnt be doing it. the second response is the consumer has driven this decision, we have recieved a §§§§ load of requests for this type of upgrade so why not give the customers what their asking for with the best quality possiable with our total involvement? would you as a cnsumer want a dm4 or timmy guy design the functions of your gun ? so lets all hold hands and sing kimb...no not such a good idea. now i need sleep. a simple 1 hour flight from pitsburg that started at 7:30 ended at 3 am i am grumpy....

I am not a huge exponent of those who should be exemplars (Ken) should be so easily flustered by younger inexperienced questions. Although I recognize that there is an overwhelming presence of sub 18-year-old representation within the industry I feel that we as adults should recognize that in doing business with such clientele that we should accept that we are doing business with just that; sub 18-yr-olds. We would be crazy to think that youth should be anything else but. MT's are MT's and should keep your composures better.

On that note, I can understand where Ken is coming from. I mean come-on guys; we would have to be idiots not to recognize what the MT’s do for us. I personally have my Marker serviced by MT’s only and will continue as long as they continue to provide that service.

Ken has a very, very relevant point: If MT’s are the standard for Angel excellence, why would you want a product (its going to be developed anyway with or without MT’s approval or support) designed by anyone else but the best and who know the intricacies of our killing machines? On this note alone we should give Tadao board development our blessings as players (and I do).

Questions concerning MT philosophical positions on ramping are just that philosophy. Arguments on these premises in the absence of the economic factors such as company positioning and financial strategies are devoid of any practical application and are at best idealistic. What results of the outpouring of these questions to the MT’s are a burden of empty conjectures, which take up limited resources (mostly time).

In all, I understand that there is a legitimate question concerning warranty protection about this mod. But 3 things: 1) seldom does any company support performance mods to their products without voiding original warranties (in any industry), 2) mostly, that initial factory warranty is a safety measure to protect the consumer from factory defects not caught by quality inspectors, I don’t think they are long-term support mechanisms offered as an incentive for product purchase (as you can see the MT’s and Cobra are warranties for life) and 3) MT’s ARE the warranty service centers!, no need to worry about getting the best support on the planet concerning WDP killing machines.
