The monday after Denver NPPL I ordered an Arsenal G7 at the local paintballstore. So the store owner put up an order with WDP with my Angel and some other stuff for the store. So last week I get the message that the shipment will arive thursday or friday and at last I will be able to hold my new "puppie" in my hands.
So with a lot of money and a lot of joy I go to the store to pick up my G7. Coming there the store owner tells me that UPS shipped the package to the wrong adress.
A few day laters the package hasn't arrived yet and UPS started an investigation. And in 2 weeks the next leg of the Dutch paintball league takes place. Also I couldn't use my new G7 with team practice last sunday.
Conclusion:
I HATE UPS!!!!

I know it sucks waiting for somethig to arrive but, a lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on UPS's part.

Explain to me how it is a lack of planning on my part??? :notsure: The Arsenal G7 was released at Denver and I ordered it the monday after.
UPS is 99% of the time right on for me, but that 1% is tricky.
UPS only insures packages for $100 unless you buy more by asking for it. That 1% cost me (my company) $1500 is sensitive electronic meters that I promised a client on a certain date. We missed the date, the client missed a billing deadline for what the meters were supposed to be billing, and had $30,000 in billing that we could not allocate to his clients which we got caught in the middle of negotiating who was going to pay for it. In the end we got it all worked out but it cost us more than money.
You are no better off with FexEx, USPS or anyone else.

Explain to me how it is a lack of planning on my part??? :notsure: The Arsenal G7 was released at Denver and I ordered it the monday after.Let's see, when was the G-7 originally officially released? Early March? Why did it take an additional 3 weeks after the release date before the MT's had any in stock? There was a big shipping issue for the entire crop of first G-7's and those of us who preordered them were really in limbo for weeks. It happens. How many thousands of packages does UPS deliver flawlessly each and every day? So the one that got lost had your stuff in it. Dude, it happens.
Hell, I've been waiting for a part to arrive since early May and I have reached the point where I am going to make other arraingments for that part. I've made a few phone calls inquiring about the part but 3 months later I am still waiting.

From now on i'll plan on UPS/USPS/FED-EX losing my stuff.........solution? Order 3 of everything and have them shipped by different carriers............UPS dropped the ball on Spikes marker and hes got every right to go on a hate-rant.............i know i do everytime those clowns muck up,like last week when the idiots forgot to put my paint order on the truck and i had to shoot wal-ball all day............ :patriot:

From now on i'll plan on UPS/USPS/FED-EX losing my stuff.........solution? Order 3 of everything and have them shipped by different carriers............Good plan, a little overkill but a good plan. Another one would be to lump the extra pennies and buy it locally and have it exactly when you want it. Another one would be to order it well in advance that barring almost anything it will still be there on time. So if you know you need it tomorrow you order it no later than Christmas just to make sure it arrives on time.
But seriously, cut them a little slack. You guys are acting like you've never been late for anything important. It happens and when you consider the fact these guys are dealing with thousands of packages each and every day they are bound to make a mistake or two.

Great advice, except for the fact there is no local store (in the Pensacola area) that carries anything WDP related and if by local you mean about 45 minutes away, still a no go. You'd be lucky to get good paint there. Online is about all there is around here and there is no reason (barring it being on backorder) why anything ordered on a Monday should not be there by that Friday no matter who you order from or where you live (in the lower 48). Even when I was stationed on D.G. things from the States still got there in at least 2 weeks. I can understand maybe a couple of days late, but come on. You may not mind waiting since May for something (what, is it backordered? If so, it's not even the same arguement), but personally I do. They have my money.

I ordered it at the local shop so that is local enough for me. But seeing that paintball isn't very big in Holland most shops don't carry hi end gear on stock and it must be ordered. And there isn't really a problem if it arrives after the league day because there are plenty of markers in our team. But I was really looking forward to playing with it for the first time. Btw the package was shipped by WDP a thursday after the order was made. And it should have arrived within a few days after that.
And I don't care about the packages that UPS delivers without mistakes, I care about the package with my G7 and the stuff for the store that was ordered. And if the person that should have delivered it was stupid enough to deliver it at the wrong adress I think it's my good right to be angry with UPS and to say that:
I hate UPS!

I HATE USPS
lmao, that is so incredibly true!
UPS has been on time for me every single time, same goes for fedex, i cant say the same for any usps shipment i've ever gotten.
Then again, usps might be more reliable then the parcel services in the States, i'm international.
one big drawback, ups/fedex are damn expensive compared to usps

UPS delivers all of my packages to the wrong house ... even houses that dont exist ... its rediculous. they seem to get my parents packages here though ... but never mine. ups is also overpriced and when they cant find your house ... that is a problem.

usps, cheap and easy, no hassle
Man UPS had screwed up so many times on me. They sent a barrel I ordered to the wrong house twice and I was stuck going to get it myself. I think USPS is great they've never messed up with me, and my packages always come in good shape unlike UPS, when ever I get something through UPS the package is practically all destroyed. Fedex is pretty good to with me. And well in canada, Canada Post is great although pricey.

A little story about the great usps. I sent a nitro duck back to get the reg overhauled. 2 weeks went by and no answer from Nduck. 3rd wk. I call Nduck and they said "they didn't have the tank". I sent the tank priority mail. I went to the post office and they advised me to fill out a report at the 4wk mark. 2 days before the 4wk mark, Nduck calls me telling me the Tank is ready to be shipped. So either the tank was missing @Nduck or the tank was missing in transit from NY to MO. next time use a tracking number it's only 50 cents extra. I will.

I don't think UPS is the company it used to be. I've lived in NM 1 1/2 years, had three packages lost (cost me $400 and it was insured), they routinely throw stuff over the driveway gate even though we've asked them to ring the door bell outside the gate.
I don't think they're customer service is as good as it used to be.

I'm from Alabama, ordered from Miami....UPS shipped to Cali and then to Alabama...typo on UPS's part...go figure.
Ship enough times, the law of averages will catch up with you. The company I work for uses UPS, no expeptions. We depend on their service, and rarely do they let us down. They (UPS) do have the commitment to customer at corp. level, but sometimes we suffer at the "delivery guy" level. Choose your poison, gents!
