I always thought this to be a myth that Brass Eagle made the first Angel's, but is it true?

Yes it is true. But from what i understand, brass eagle couldnt get it to work. They sold the design. Now Angels are the objects of envy that you see today. Thank god Brass Eagle didnt get it to work, or the angel might not have been the great marker that they are now.

No brass Eagle did not make the first Angel. WDP has always made them however they used BE to market them in the Paintball community at least initially.

I had always heard that Brass Eagle initially came up with a design and never got it to work. I didnt know that Brass Eagle only marketed it for them. Thank god, if Brass Eagle would have made it, I wouldnt own it.

Let me see if I can dig it out and see what pics are in there. I think many of the first models of Angels are depicted. I'll check tonight.

Brass Eagle gave up on it and thouhgt no one would [ay that for a marker, and put more effort into the "Rainmaker". Althogh WDP has always made the Angel, BE was a distrubor*sp*.

Very true Fatback. There is a kid at my local field that still shoots a rainmaker. You can pick out his location just on how loud that thing is. He might as well be playing with one of those yellow flags you put on the back of a big wheel on his back with a big arrow pointing down.

pretty sure that black angel is a V6, i think the V6 had the breach rotate from the left to the right, but after the first run, they changed it back
the reason why it was on the left and rotated to the right was because john rice is left handed?

Yea it looks like, from the pic, that the breach knob is on the left...
