I have been pballing for about 3 years - not very frequently until the last year. In the last year I've purchased an Electra DX and was going to purchase a gun for my bro so we could go together. I was willing to spend $200 on ebay when I came across an Angel 4 with Newton valve kit and on/off rail. I won the auction and paid $350 with shipping simply because of the deal without even thinking about what other things I needed. Not sure if it will come with a charger and the 4.8 battery. (which is crappy because I just bought some Power Ex Maha 9.6 rechargables that I will not be able to use I assume)...

*****IMPORTANT*****

I know I need an air tank for Co2 would mess up the gun... I've been getting mixed views on whether to get a low pressure or high pressure air tank and I'm totally lost. If a low pressure will simply be more consistent I would rather get a high pressure, but if the high pressure tank may damage the gun I need to know please. Again, the angel also has a Newton valve kit - does that mean I definately need a low pressure tank?
Good Day ^^

Check out the a4 set up thread at the top of the page....here's the link http://www.angel-owners.com/showthread.php?t=22326

You also have to calibrate the a4, which I know nothing about....BUT if you have the manual IT IS YOUR BIBLE you can get it at the wdp website...This forum is your guide to life, I've learned so much just by reading through the threads, even if its a thread for another angel...There are many ups you might wanna consider for the future...Do a search and you shall find....WELCOME.

***Oh...and if the evolve kit doesn't work out for you I'll be more than happy to take it off your hands....I'm willing to trade or dish out some cold cash**** here's my e-mail dre_f1@yahoo.com

thanks bro. I'm simply a rec player and don't have tooooo much time to play. Don't get high hopes, but maybe way down the road I may consider selling if I must. Again - Thanks much.

Not to press the issue...but I have a HP 45/45 crossfire tank + $70 (which is the cost to change the reg to LP) that I'm willing to trade for the evolve...So if your interested the offer stands.

Oh and to answer your question about the output of your tank...a low pressure tank is recommended and generally and personally preffered...But you can do a reg mod to run high pressure.

Get an LP tank..........the battery is installed in the marker and any of the M/Ts should be able to sell you a charger if needed and you bought yourself a nice marker :patriot:

I bought the gun used and you said that "the battery is installed in the marker"... Is that a permanent battery? Can it not be disconnected? The guy I purchased from finally said he would buy me a charger and battery and send it to me, and I was a little confused with your comment. I'm assuming the battery is installed from the factory but will die out soon and sets of chargers and batteries can be purchased after market.

In addition, the seller I purchased from said he charges his battery once a month. Do the 4.8 v batteries last longer? Does the Spyder put out less energy? And how long is the recommended charge - for how long, and when?

p.s. I know that is a lot to read - sorry
