I have a 2001 LCD, C&C. My board went out on me last year, so I have a locked board.
I am considering the Predator board. I am really not considering the Fly Conversion, so please do not point me in that direction.
I play primarily recball/speedball, and my field always splits up the higher end guns, from the lower end guns. The angels rate of fire used to be great just by itself, but now with all the guns that have ramp modes and the ability to hit high ROF, with low effort, sometimes I find the angel lacking. I can still throw plenty of paint, but every now and then, if I could throw three or four more balls in a snapshot, I think it'd make a difference.
So thats why I'm looking at the predator, its got the semi-only mode for when I enter the occasional tournament with my buddies [maybe once a year], but its got all the ramping modes, and modes that give me a little extra edge for the rec days.
For those of you who have it, what do you think? How easy is the LED interface to use? I've only used an LCD interface. I dont mind removing the grips to change battery/modes, it takes all of a minute to do in between games back in the staging area.
At 150$, this doesnt seem to be a bad deal, especially with the lifetime board warranty.. If i went with an WDP board, and it went after six months, I'd be out another 100 bucks and a board. I plan to keep this gun for as long as I can, so I need something thats going to alst.
