i just got my ir3 a while ago and i have the rubber band mod on it and a little piece of paper between the trigger and leaf spring to have a real short pull. When i have know gas in it i can shoot just fine and hear it click everytime it fires but when i gas it up it doesnt fire all the time when i walk the trigger. It may only fire once. Does anyone know how to stop this? I want a fast gun with a real light trigger pull. I know the leaf spring doesnt get held down because i can hear it come back and click everytime. Please help

the trigger isnt coming forware far enough to let the gun cycle. You have to remember that when the gun fires there is a slight kick to it and this will help with increaseing rates of fire but if the trigger is to short it wont fully cycle. To be honest man just using the stock opto trigger will get you a really short light trigger. In fact I cant find another gun with a lighter pull then mine.

I took off all my little mods i have on the trigger and it started working just perfect and would fire everytime i would shoot. So i went to the field and my gun was working perfect but then all the sudden it wouldn't shoot everytime i pulled the trigger. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. I'm really quite mad because i just got it a while ago and it isnt working well. The trigger pull is pretty large now so its got to be fully cycling. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem with mine...the trigger is sloppy...side to side play is a pain. You do have to make sure the leaf spring can move freely otherwise you get issues. Thats what it sounds like to me...let the fore play out a bit and you should be ok
