with all this talk of the MT Tadao board being produced, I was wondering if we could get the tadao or G7 board installed instead of the fly board. I know it might take a while, but I just want to know all the possibilities before I send my gun in. thanks

Tman, the board isn't out yet. In fact it's still 4+ weeks away from being available. So if you send your marker in, it's going to sit on a shelf for quite a while while you wait for the Tadao board.

As for the G7 board, I'm sure it's possible. However you'll have to have the trigger modified to work without the leaf switch on the board, rather have the leaf switch mounted on the trigger.

Would that be compatible with the LCD?

Yeah I like the idea of the angel eye mod with tadao. That way the trigger can be moded to work also

Not really. I called Jim at impact and he said that they were not getting or didnt have any spare G7 boards. They wont be flashing the g7 software on the fly boards either, as it may break the board. Atleast Jim wont do it... but if he says its not entirely safe, Im not gonna risk it.

The G7 uses a magnet to push the trigger back to position doesnt it?....might make it hard to use in an IR3....Im getting tired of waiting for these bloddy A4 Fly boards...grrr
