well heres the deal, i have a 2k1-2k2 darck lcd, its had MANY shoots put on it, and now im getting a bit of incostencey in shoots, and when i get on it hard there will be a "low" shoot every now and again, however there is no shoot drop off, as in lack of air to the ball, jsut the "low shoots". any who, i know it doesnt have to do with the main valve, because when i turn my dwell down to 8-9 (it doesnt hit the vale) ut you can SEE the difrence in how far the ram travels, whic i know its causeing the incosintcy. im pretty sure its not my noid, and i jsut cleaned and relubed everything, i dont know any of my prussures but the main reg is "balnced" if you will and LPR has 4 large shims and 2 thin . and i think i have the nut thing on the ram(its late sorry) set right the snap ring i think it is. any who i dont have a stock baord, but im pretty sure thats not the problem, casue well it came out of a gun that never had this problem, and the stock board still does it, so if anyone could please help me out it would well help me out. :P um if anyone would like to see a pic that shows what im saying about the "low" shoots let me know, ill post a link.

first, set your Dwell to 14. Next check to make sure your LPR is at 85 psi and your problems should clear up.

alright for one, im not sure how to get then set my lpr prussure, but when im at a dwell of 14 it does the same §§§§. i just find it needed to be jacked up for testing, i dont need to spray the paint over a crono to know theres a problem. but yeah, if you could help me out on the lpr stuff itd be nice. cause doi just slap a gauge on the front thing? or what. wel thanks for the help, sorry for not clarifing the dwell issue.

the dwell need to be at 14 so leave it set at that. To test your LPR degass the gun and take off the volumizer. Place the guage on the volumizer side and gas up the marker and cycle it afew times. No the guage will tell you your LPR pressure. Add shims till it reads at or alittle over 85 PSI. Each shim adds about 3.5 PSI. These are the thin shims you mention, the thick shims are springs. Also make sure the springs look like this )()(

hey, thank you alot, i thought the thing on the front had the HP gass in it. silly me. so each thin shim ads that much? damn, well thank you, ill be getting a gauge for that so i can check that ASAP. well hopefully that will explain some stuff. well thank you for all your help. ill post back if the lpr is set right, or setting it right doesnt fix anything. and thank you one last time!

forgot to mention, when setting the LPR, input 500 PSI into the flashtank(that is out of the mini reg into the gun) if you can, that will produce the best set LPR.

you pull the piston and the spring stack out, then you can see the LPR body. Up against that body is where the shims go, you can see them when you take out the piston and spring stack, they are silver and the LPR body is brass.
