you already asked this. And with all the new info about the tadao board coming out, I would wait to see if you could get that instead

it's up to u, euro is simpler and has LED, Fly has all the bells and whistles (such as shot counter and timer and more modes) and is LCD...

..the performance of the marker is unchanged between the Fly, Euro or Tadao boards. Basically the marker will be just as fast regardless of the board in semi-mode.

...the difference in the boards lie in the method of feed-back to the user, LCD=text, LED=lights. Don't know how the TADAO will display it's LEDs, but the Euro has the graph motif and seperate LEDs for LOADER, MROF, TRIGGER, MODE, DWELL & EYES to provide the user feedback on the settings for each. The other area is QUANTITY of MODES available...but think about this, most of the time you can only use semi-mode at most fields (and tourneys to be safe if marker is not compliant for 'enhanced modes')..

...having just received an A4 that had the Euro conversion by FMA (Thanks Bob!), I can tell you that compared to my ForceFly and daughters LE A4, this EuroFlyed A4 exceeds my expectations...it RIPS!

...all I can advise folks is that you will have no disappointments with the Euro board (which is the only available board at this time I believe ?)

I know that you can now get the fly board as an upgrade.I was just wondering if there is different software between the 2 especially if you are saying that you like the euro better than the forcefly?

...in my case it is not a matter of liking one over the other..they both perform to a high level. My EuroFlyed A4 is my "project" marker"...the one I will 'test' things on. It also allows me to decrease the wear & tear on the ForceFly by not having to use it in rec and practice days all the time, save it for tourneys.

..the Euro boards (or at least mine) cannot be reflashed or upgraded...some may not like that, but I don't find it a problem as most flashing nowadays is for modes...I play straight semi-mode, no need for PSP, Milleninum, CFOA modes. If I need to limit the bps, the Euro board is already capable of being "stepped down" via the MROF setting...

...I would recommend you contact the MT whom you are considering to do the conversion and ask the SPECIFIC questions you have, that way you get the EXACT and CORRECT answers, not heresay from the forum from folks who MAY NOT have the right FACTS...
