I was looking at the trigger mechanism on the A4 board.
It appears that there is just a piece of sprung metal hitting a switch when the trigger is pulled.
This mecahnism seems kind of lame, can anyone tell me:
Is this the standard mechanism for the trigger in Angels?
Is there an aftermarker part that can be fitted to an LCD to replace this mechanism?
Any tips?

that spring on the A4 board breaks a beam of light to activate the marker. LCDs use a micro switch.

is the tension on the a4 board switch adjustable?

unless you bend the leafspring no. But you can always adjust the trigger tension.

Get a spring from a BIC pen, stretch it to the length of your stock spring, try it in your gun, then if its too stiff cut alittle off, stretch it again and repeat till the trigger feels just how you like it.

not advertising... but the springs from those pens are the perfect size, use what works.

ok this is how the opto trigger on the A4 board works. The metal leaf has a small hole in the bottom "L" part that goes in and out of the board. Normally the little break beam sensors in the board stay broken by the leaf. When the trigger is pressed, it presses the spring into the board. When the hole in the leaf passes over the little sensors, the break-beam connects and tells the gun to fire.
