installing a screen

Im getting an a4 board and i was woundering how to take the lcd screen off my ir3 board and put it on the a4 board or should i just buy the board and a new screen and have the mt techs put it together?

Lift up on the end of the screen near the plug ports (where the Intellifeed, Solenoid, COPS plug into the board) and it will come right off. It should come off easily, it should take you less than a minute to take it off and put it on the new board...

To the reverse to install it on the A4 board... line up the end of the board with the 2 little notches onto the little pegs and then push down on the other end of the board. It's very simple.

The A4 board comes with an LCD screen...so why would you need to swap it out?

When I got mine used from... cant think of the site right now... it didnt come with an LCD or I didnt want one with it to keep the cost down...

i think the screens on from the IR3 boards are different that theA4 ones. I know they r diff with the flys to older ones. More pins

The A4 Screens are the same as the IR3 screens
