dwell is the amount the value is open like if it is set a 9 it will be 9 millions of a second. The bad news is that i dont know how to set it. I think 9 is the best if u have a ir3.

The dwell is measured in milliseconds...so with a dwell of 14 your ram cycle takes 14 milliseconds to come forward, open the valve and then retract the bolt so another ball is ready to go. And you will never ever find an IR3 that can have a dwell of 9...the board only goes as low as 10 and the gun wont even cycle right at a dwell of 10. I have mine right now cycling at 12 which is 2 milliseconds below normal but unless you have fine tuned your gun like mine dont set it at 12. As far as setting the dwell read your manual and it will tell you all the features of the gun and how to use. Keep in mind you just bought a 1000 dollar paintball gun and it would be a good idea to read the manual so you know how to use it properly. You dont have a manual there are digital ones you can load from the WDP website or from this website
