Board Or Battery Or ME?

OK....so i got my angel off a trade on pbnation....i know i know...not a great idea...but anyway......so it comes....no charger for the angel.....like he said....so i buy one....and i charge it....overnight.....and i take it off charger and turn it on....it turns on but the screen is blank but the backlight is lit up.....nothing else is on screen....all the stuff comes on like when you reset something in the very begining...but then it all goes away....not even the battery meeter is there....am i doin somethin wrong or is it the board or the bat?.....im new to angels totaly so any help is good help....thanks guys....

that's the gun "testing" itself... give it a moment to turn on, it should eventually read "SAFE" on the LCD.

But if the board is fried then it won't say safe it will stay blank with the back light. So you could have a bad board.

its a bad board im almost sure of it.....it never says anything and ocasionaly when i play wit the switch a little you see random segmants light up and fade away......so where can i get a board? should i just get a stock board or an upgraded board.....im probly goin wit the cheape$t here....low on ca$h.......

well they dont make lacd boards any more so u have to buy a used most likely.

just put an A4 board in it... that's ur best bet, and u get all the goodies that are in the A4 board that aren't in the fly board... (does debounce settings come w/ the a4 board?)

yeah... no conversion stuff, it drops right into the place of ur old LCD board... oh! and don't waste the money on the LCD screen... the 1 on ur LCD board works fine on the A4 board.

you have to get a new trigger frame beacuse the a4 want fit in the lcd frame

You could always do some work with your dremel to make the board fit.

yeah, as long as u don't cut n e thing major... there's usually excess board around the vitals though... u could do it, other people have...

you could also get a board swap

but i would get someone that nows how to insert boards to do it beacuse u may mess something up inside leeding to more dame and needing more $$$$ to fix
